Cabinet...NO, Vanity...Yes

The Insignia Ridgefield 33-1/2"H x 15"W x 7"D Storage Cabinet is actually a surface mount vanity, the advertized measurements are not of the vanity itself but are of the vanity with the crown molding attached. The vanity measures 32”H x 12” W x 4” D. Most of the wood joints are uneven on the vanity and the unattached crown molding was only glued together and was uneven also. I kept the door and door hardware and trashed the cheap vanity box and build my own 7” D cabinet and attached the door.

Very poor construction. Draws will not line up. Slides are miss aligned. Chipboard sides have staples sticking out . Bottom will not fit into dado's.

Very poor construction. web page shows plywood construction but built with cheep chipboard. Stapled together. Staples stick out sides. Face frame is coming off cabinet. Bottom is hanging loose.

This seems to be a very good quality mirror. We have purchased three already and have been pleased with each one. Good quality at a good price!! Look very nice.

Nice mirror and quick delivery

We haven't had a chance to hang the mirror yet but it arrived quicker than expected and looks nice. Only issue is that there is a scratch that runs down one long side but it's not noticeable enough to return. It may have occurred when store checked the product delivery and not in the manufacturing of the mirror.

Why I prefer to see what I'm buying

OVERALL THE CABINET IS USABLE, BUT THERE IS A FLAW ON THE SIDE (LUCKILY IT IS THE SIDE THAT IS ONLY SEEN FROM THE SHOWER) AND ONE OF THE SHELVES IS DEFECTIVE (I CAN TURN THE DEFECTIVE SIDE TO THE INSIDE OF THE CABINET). THE FLAWS AREN'T WORTH SENDING THE CABINET BACK BECAUSE THE BATHROOM IS NOT THAT PERFECT TO BEGIN WITH, BUT IT 'S THE FACT THAT SOMETHING SPECIAL ORDERED REALLY SHOULD COME IN PERFECT CONDITION. (NEITHER FLAW WAS CAUSED BY SHIPPING.) IF THIS WAS TO BE USED IN A NEWLY BUILT HOUSE ...

Not what we expected

We didn't expect to not only have to add these pieces to the sides of the units but also have to trim them to fit along the side bottom! These pieces require more work than we expected. It would have been nice to purchase items ready to use. All the little extras require cutting and installing - crown molding, sides pieces and foot plates.

Disappointed in this product

We are disappointed in the quality of this product. We purchased this vanity and the linen closet. There is about a 1/4" gap where the doors meet and a few scratches on all the pieces. The model in the store showed as a nice piece of furnature but not so once we unpacked the units. That is what sold me on the pieces. We also ordered the decorative spacers but the sales person didn't consider that when ordering the special order granite top. So now we have to return those.

Nice mirror

We purchased this mirror to go in our newly decorated bathroom. The vanity & linen cabinet were made by Allan Roth. We didn't care for the mirrors they made so we purchased this mirror. The stain color on the Allan Roth products was Cinnamon so we figured they would match. We were wrong. While the color is nice, it just doesn't match. The mirror is well made. Just keep in mind that it does not match the cinnamon color of Allan Roth.

Only good points are price and size.

This cabinet is poorly crafted with cheap plywood sides and back. Moulding is not attached and has to be trimmed to fit the cabinet and then installed.. Shelves are particle board.

Very good looks but very poor quality

Four years ago we bought two of these unis. They looked very classy with beveled glass mirrors and hidden hinges. Two weeks ago the top hinge on both cabinets broke causing one mirror to break. I was sent two new cabinets to replace the old ones. What a disappointment !! First they no longer make them with beveled glass and the hinges now show. Secondly the quality is extremely poor. There were dings in the frame, the holes where the hinges go were blistered, all the nail holes were blistered, n...

This product does not come with a back panel. Nor does it come with hardware. It is poor value and quality.

While these might look good from the outside, the drawer construction is poor and they have no backs!! Not a quality buy for the price

Watch out

First one I had shipped in had a fun-house mirror appearance. The manufacturer did send out a new one pretty quick. The hinges are cheap white metal... the top one broke within about 2 or 3 months. I patched it into place with fiber glass. Now (3 or 4 years later?) the bottom hinge broke when my daughter opened the cabinet; fortunately she caught the mirror before it hit the marble sink.

over priced for what u get

while the installed cabinet looks good on the wall i was extremely disappointed in the interior construction , particle board overlaid with wood grain plastic, the brad holes visable on the inside of the cabinet, the cheap plastic shelf tabs. the complete lack of any instructions with the product might also be a problem for some purchasers. should of sold for $70 or $80

Biggest complaint.... there no instructions! Seems sturdy though.

Good value cabinet

Fit and finish was good and at a reasonable price.
