Doesn't last

I purchased insignia bathroom cabinets from Lowes in, 2014, Unfortunately the product has not held up well. The finish is peeling, and it looks horrible. Don't buy it

Poor quality

I ordered 3 of the mirrors for a bathroom remodel. After waiting 3 weeks for them to arrived, they had to be returned. Out of the box, the backs of the mirrors were falling apart. The wood frames were scratched even though the packaging was not damaged. I was very disappointed with the quality of this product.

Expensive for what you get.

I purchased this vanity and a granite top only to discover that there were no end pieces, just mdf showing. Additionally there was no toe kick included which was supposed to be there. After speaking with Lowe's they agreed to pay for the end cap and request the manufacturer expedite shipping one to the. Well they stated that they would have the end cap in 2 to 3 day's, still waiting and it has been over 1 week now waiting on a piece of oak trim. Same goes for the toe kick which was supposed to b...

Stumped

Okay, so our medicine cabinet came....NO INSTRUCTIONS OR DIRECTIONS!!!!! Didn't have a clue that the mirror would also serve as the door....wouldn't have ordered it if I had known....the specs nor info anywhere stated this fact. How do you attach the mirror to hinges to the cabinet? I think this is probably going back to the store and we will start all over again.

Not what was shown in store!

I purchased this 48" vanity in satin white and it is very disappointing. The finish is that grainy white paint that is used often on low quality, cheap cabinets. One of the drawers does not line up and another drawer does not have rubber stoppers. The side panels are not cut out for the toe kick area. Not for the average DIYer

Bought this special order cabinet from Lowes. It arrive in about half the promised time - the only plus to this review. Wasn't ready to install so cabinet sat boxed up for a few weeks. Then when we were ready we unpacked. Boy was I surprised. First off the cabinet is not a full box unit. attractive, latch is tricky to attach

We bought this cabinet to go with a vanity we bought at a big Swedish store, in a color called "black-brown stain". We wanted something that wasn't overpoweringly big and deep like the cabinets from the same set as the vanity. We needed something modern looking to go with the style of the vanity. The color and size (including depth) of this one is perfect. We did not install the crown molding because it didn't go well stylistically and it blocked too much light from the fixture above the cabinet...

What a joke

Spent 4500.00 on bathroom cabinets. Particle board construction end panels, warped drawers and doors. Decorative end panels make the base cabinet to long for the counter top. Returned linen cabinet due to warped face frame, one drawer front just fell off. Just a horrible experience, and I am not a novice. Would never buy this product again.

Be aware of what you are after

I like my cabinets but on my computer the cabinet picture is a lot darker than the actual cabinet, the small insert drawer front is the actual color. Also the cabinet description say's standard counter top but the distance from the top of the counter to the fake front is very small and not all counters fit.

Product was well suited for my use

I purchased the Cabinet for use on wall over toilet. It is great for that use. It is perfect for toilet paper storage and other bathroom products. Not a large cabinet in terms of depth only about 6' but perfect for the location and use. Only issue was that it required some door adjustment after hanging .

Stay away from this line of cabinets

Don't let the price fool you. This line of cabinets is of the poorest quality. First of all they will take a full month to arrive. Then, if you need even a simple filler piece that is not custom it will take another month. The quality out of the box is atrocious. Scratches, nicks, bowed pieces are just some of the things to expect. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for custom cabinets. In the end you'll be happier with the finished product, and you'll have someone to hold accountable...

Sure Not Burgundy

I like the looks of the mirror, but the color is very deceiving online. We had to drive 2 hours, closest Lowes, to get this for a bathroom remodel. When we got it home and took it out of the box we were surprised at how dark the wood was. Not the red tones it shows on the insignia website or on the Lowe's website. More like a Mocha color and a darker brown.

not happy

within the first year of my purchase my mirror began to separate from the backing on the door , product was assembled poorly and my hardware to hold the mirror in place broke...I purchased 2 insignia surface mount medicine cabinets

Read the Specifications Carefully!

The photo in the Lowes product description and on the box clearly shows a vanity with a finished side and hardward, but it has neither. If you have an exposed side upon installing this, and assuming unfinished press board isn't the look you're going for, be prepared to special order the side panel and your hardware. If you read the product specifications closely you will see they have properly listed that both sides are unfinished, meaning exposed press board, and cabinet hardware is not include...

No Door!

I returned this item. According to the online specs, the door type was advertised as "single with mirror." I interpreted this to mean a single door with a mirror. What I received instead was just a mirror with hardware and a magnet...no door. It would have been a perfect fit if only it had a door. Very disappointed.

Poor quality

I just had this vanity installed this past week & found the product to be of poor quality. Nothing like the sample at the store. There are areas in the linen cabinet where there is no stain & I have a white line along the seam, The doors & drawers in the vanity are very rough, like the wood was cut & never sanded. There is no way you could wipe the wood to dust or clean it. I feel for the price it should be much higher quality than what I got. Highly disappointed.

Craftsmanship is lacking

Just received this unit today. The doors on the front are mounted uneven. One is about a quarter inch lower than the other. There is also no hang rail inside for screwing the screws through for hanging. There was also a scratch on one of the doors. I would send it back except for the fact that I have waited almost 6 weeks to have it delivered. Not very impressed with the quality of craftmanship.

Piece of junk

After waiting 21 business days I carried this vanity up a flight of stairs and opened the box. Wow... I've never seen such poor craftsmanship in my life. One of the plastic corners in the back ripped the plywood apart when stapled. And apparently they continued to staple it because it's secure. Then in the front there was a big glob of who knows what on the door. But it was stained over, runing the door. I'm not sure what to do now. I'll call customer service but I need to get this installed ASA...

it's ok, but

looks cheaper in person but not bad for our bath. I thought it would be 100 % coated or primed since it is a bath application but there is bare particle board which I primed. I guess fir $135 you can't have a knob...I got the same scrathses the other reviewer did, are you sure you didn't send it back?! It's ok, I shouldn't complain

Not worth the money

We bought a 60" and 48" for our bath remodel project because we thought they would be better quality as "custom" than "off the rack." Were we ever mistaken. There is no back to the cabinets so when you open the drawers/doors, you see wall. EVERY drawer front and door had to be removed and repositioned to realign them. There are places in the finish that are rough and some look like they don't have enough stain on them. One set of drawer glides had to be repositioned and a shim added just to make...
