Be prepared for corrective carpentry

Special ordered this Linen Cabinet as part of the bathroom furnishing for the guest rooms in our attached garage. All cartons arrived intact and undamaged. Store pickup. Insignia (RSI) poor quality control

Beware of poor product quality from Insignia semi-custom cabinets! I returned an entire bathroom multiple cabinet set because most cabinets had flaws such as door frame nicks, drawers with unfinished wood exposed, split wood in the door face frame, mirror backing coming off. Insignia didn't even respond to my concerns so I had to resolve it with Lowes. Lowes was excellent about making things right. Wanted a mirror that would match the Vanilla Bathroom Vanity. This is perfect. Also we did not want one that was too fancy since it was going in a mans bathroom. Looks really good with the vanity.

Follow Up To Previous Review

As a follow-up to my prevous review, I had to order several of these mirrors because I got them with knots in the wood. I ordered two at the beginning and one had knots; I kept the other one. Then I ordered 4 more and got one good one, but the 1/16" fiberboard backing was bulged out on it, causing it to stick out from the wall. I ordered 4 more and all came with black knots in them. Poor quality

The vanity was poorly made, The drawer supports were not attached on one side, my husband had to put in additional screws to secure the drawer supports to the back. When we were moving the vanity one of the drawer front came off. It will need to be glued back on. It was not a low priced vanity, we just expect better quality for what we paid.

Very poorly designed and constructed

We purchased this mirror to match an Insignia bathroom vanity we had also bought at Lowes. The vanity was fine. This MIRROR is very poorly designed and constructed. 1) The mirror is held in place in back by a piece of heavy paper-based material about 1/16" thick. It looks like heavy cardboard, but is not corrugated. This is nominally attached to the back of the frame using heavy staples. Poor Quality

These medicine cabinets had to be special ordered and I was OK with that; I needed two for our master bath. When I opened the package I discovered I had no screws to secure the top. When I looked at the cabinets, the back was secured to the frame with flimsy staples and was already separating. I had to purchase glue to keep the back and frame together. Great Value - Nice Mirror

This mirror is a good value at $75.00. The only issue is that it may come with knots in the wood as another reviewer wrote. I ordered two of them. One had knots in it; the other did not. I returned the one with knots and will order another until I get one with no knots. The finish is a medium oak and it is not too light or too dark, nor does it have a golden tone to it. The back is all sealed up and clear caulked to prevent moisture from entering in the back.

Very poor quality.

We ordered the product online and when we picked it up at the store it was falling apart. I love the looks of it but the quality of the cabinets was very low. The shelving was pulled away from the walls of the cabinet and the corners of the frame where the wood went together was pulled apart. It's a shame because there isn't another white recessed framed mirror in the world like this one. I'm sure if it were a better quality it would be a great seller.

Better vanities at this price

These are constructed with the cheapest materials possible. The veneer trim has 0.010 thick wood on both sides and compressed cardboard dust on the inside. The interior veneers in the accessory cabinets is paper. It can be paper over particle board or plywood, they seem to use whatever is in stock. They look nice and are fairly easy to install. Very disappointed!!

Recently purchased this vanity for a bathroom remodel. Am very disappointed in the quality & appearance. I purchased this vanity is white, while the one on display was a dark wood. It in no way compares to the one I saw on display at Lowes. I have even been back to look at the dark wood one on display & it just does not compare. Would not recommend. I am very pleased with all the other items I purchased at Lowes for this remodel, but not this!!

Don't waste your money

Wow...this was a total waste of money! We thought we were getting a decent quality vanity considering this is over $400 and we had to wait nearly a month for it to come in! When if finally arrived my husband, myself and contractor were baffled by the quality. There is no back to this vanity, the drawers were loose and crooked, big gap bewteen the cabinet doors and one of the drawers had a gouge in it and looked like Insignia just tried to color it in with stain. insignia cabinets

Purchased two of these discounted from a return special order. Said they were 158 each got them for 50 for the pair. Nice but not at 158 dollars each. Not good quality control always inspect before excepting. Happy for what I paid.

looks great

love the design and maple color is beautiful. Only issue was adjusting drawers & doors, can't seem to get them lined up "exactly", will keep at it!

medicine cabinet

purchased 2 cabinets for bathroom ,after getting one of them mounted as i put the shelving in found out that none of the shelving holes lined up,checked the 2nd one an it was the same,installation was easy though.returned both an have to reorder new cabinets.

Quality

Do not spend this kind of money on this product very cheap made and workmanship is very poor. Finish is very thin and prep was not done properly before finished. save your money here and buy something else. Waited a month to recieve just to find out it's another piece of junk.

Expected easier fit

Matched cabinets nicely and was made out of quality wood, but did not come with the cut out for the bottom edge. Had to notch it out ourselves which wasn't too bad, but I'd rather had it just fit. We ended up using a nail gun to properly may the footer and side panel.
