Would RecommendThis is my third Insinkerator. The first 2 were a model that is no longer made, but lasted 5 years each. This model is even better. It is built stronger and the hot water comes out in a bigger stream. I love having instant hot water at my fingertips and use it several times a day.

Convenient source of of instant hot water
Would RecommendLove using the hot water dispenser for instant oatmeal, instant coffee, hot chocolate, pre-heating cups and more. It provides instant hot water for soaking dirty pans. The Insinkerator brand is a quality product that is made to last. With one caution, it was simple to install. The caution is regarding the size of the whole in the counter-top. They provide an extender sleeve for thick counter-tops but you must make sure the slightly larger diameter extender still fits in the counter-top ho...

Installation and performance of Insinkerator hot water faucet
Would RecommendInstallation went well except that one would think if you replace an Insinkerator hot water faucet with an Insinkerator hot water faucet they would fit in the same hole. However, we were delayed about a week until the granite counter top people could get here to enlarge the hole 1/16 of an inch all the way around. The brass threads would make it through the original hole but there was not room for the plastic extender. The faucet replaced was installed in 2009, the type with a copper tank attach...

The hot water dispenser works very well.
Provides great results with immediate hot water. I initially was only going to use it for making tea, but now I realize it's great for starting anything you would use on the stove as a head start for cooking soups. Makes prep work quicker while saving gas/energy. Looks very nice on the kitchen sink.

Nice-looking, effective
Would RecommendTried to buy a replacement tank when the old one started to leak, but couldn't. New product was easy to install by a DIYer with lots of experience. The supply line could have been a few inches longer. The unit is noisier and seems to run longer than the old one, but overall it works well and is attractive.

Works great just noisy when heating
Would RecommendEasy to install...just make sure you have a live unswitched outlet. Noisy when heating is our only complaint.

Would RecommendReplaced my old InSinkErator with this one. It is hot on time, all the time, and I expect it will last just as long as the last one.

Don't get this as a replacement for a prior model Insinkerator Hot Water Dispenser
Would Not RecommendDon't get me wrong-up until now we have valued our Insinkerator Hot Water Dispensers. This model is the 4th one we have owned over a 27 year span. We use our current model dozens of times every day. Historically, the company has been excellent with customer service and we have always been thrilled with the product until this current model was purchased. Everything was predictably perfect until we saw that the copper line supplied with the new handle is 2 to 3 inches shorter than the previous cop...

Product heating up is louder
Would RecommendThis is a replacement of a previous product and so it can be compared---handle and spout are smaller and therefore closer to the sink edge allowing less room to fill a larger vessel. When this tank goes into heat mode--it can sound loud and distracting--we are living with it

hot water instantly!
Would Not RecommendThis is my second one as I had to leave my first one when we moved. This is an updated model, but I actually preferred my old one. I find that this one doesn't always shut off completely and runs if I don’t notice. Then I have to pull on the lever to shut it off. This happens just about every time I use it, several times a day. So when I release the lever, it doesn't completely close. I have wasted a lot of water due to this problem.

Right on the value
Would RecommendPerforms great. Got a garbage disposal too to replace our older water and disposal. The insinkerator brand is dependable and works as described. I will buy another again when it's time to replace

Good product
Would RecommendI like the product. My biggest concern is if it lasts. This is a replacement for the exact same model which lasted only 3 years.

louder than our previous
Would RecommendThis was a replacement for a previous product--not insinkerator and the new production makes much more noise when heating up. This noise is related to use and so once the tap was used, the water refills and the heating element kicks on and we hear it get heat back up until thermostat shuts off.

Much better than older models!
Would RecommendWe had 2 older models, where the tank was connected directly to the faucet. I think it was "Hot-1". That was terrible! We only got 1 year out of the last one. This model we have not is excellent!

Life changer
Like a cell phone, how did I ever survive without one? Cleaning sticky dishes, tea, instant coffee and hot chocolate, warm your morning coffee cup before you fill it...the list goes on. Super simple to install, yeah you hear it warming the next batch of hot water but it's not a strange "what's that noise?" Sound anyone would notice. It's just the right size and we've never run the tank empty and had to wait.

Involve H-Wave
Would RecommendThis was very easy for me to install, but I do have to say that we had one in already that died (started leaking) after 7 years, so all I had to do is take out the old and put in the new. This model has a raised spout that makes it much easier to get cups under also it's a push lever not a turn knob like the old one. It was so hard to turn the knob on our old one. The water comes out faster too. I just wish InSinkerator would make these so they would last longer. After reading some of the review...
