Good Product

This is the third replacement unit for the below counter heater. We have used these units for about 25 years. We also had one in our motorhome for many years. I do find it strange that I can buy a complete replacement unit for less money than just buying the failed heater unit. I wish that the water filter was an integral part since the last failure was clogged valves. The failure before that was a tank leak that made quite a mess. When it works, it's fine

Hot Water Hazard

After a few weeks of use the hot water push button has been sticking in an ON position. Not much to do about it except to get out of the way. There is no way to pull the button back up. We fiddle and fiddle with the button and eventually it slowly comes back up. Not sure what to do about it - thinking of returning it.

Couldn't live without my hot water dispenser

The new dispenser has very clean lines and works perfectly on my sink. The water is ready at all times and I love it.

Works as described

Replaces the similar Wasteking heater which worked for 8 years. Both are the similar, but this instant water heater produces a little more water, and has better faucet. Installed in 20 minutes.

Works very well but using two handle Insinkerator handle instead of pushbutton that came with tank.

Does a good job of making hot water and it does not dribble as much as the old, different brand tank we had.

Great product with very short lifespan!

I vote NO to purchasing an instant hot, because they last only 1-3 years on average and are not inexpensive. The problem is you grow to rely upon them and love the ease of having boiled water at your fingertips, so when it breaks after 1.5 years (like my last one), you run out and spend more money to buy a replacement (which inevitably breaks after 1-3 years). Was a replacement for an older discontinued model. Fairly straight forward install except for instructions needed to be more specific in regards to counter spacer. DOES NOT COME WITH COMPRESSION NUT FOR BRASS CONNECTION to water valve (ARE YOU KIDDING ME), cheap part that should be included for complete install. Unit heats quickly and quietly. It was VERY easy to install. I love the convenience of instant hot water and it looks beautiful!

This model is solidly constructed.

The unit I installed is working silently and effectively. My wife and I are very pleased with it.

Replacing -10+ Year Old Hot Water Dispenser

Very easy to replace! Using same lines as previous Insinkerator unit was effortless aftng to make sure lines were still OK.

Nice looking, good working product

Fairly easy to install. Leaked a little in the first hours, but then stopped. no problems in 3 weeks. Water is really hot, but variable.

When it works it's great

This is the third unit I have installed since 2007. I haven't changed to another company because all I had to do is switch out the tank. All the other plumbing matched the old unit. So, I'm not real happy with the lifespan of the heating tank but I love having the hot water available for coffee or tea. The original installation required a plumber.

What a Convenience!

Piece of cake to install. Instructions were clear. Took about an hour. It's now my go-to hot water supply. Even making non-instant hot cereal is almost as fast as making the other stuff, and tastier, too! With the F2000S filter, my French press coffee has reached new levels of deliciousness. I will never be without an InSinkerator Instant Hot Water Dispenser in my kitchen.

indispensible kitchen tool

this is my third hot water dispenser in 12 years or so... obviously it's one of our favorite gadgets in our kitchen, just hope this one will last more than 4 years

Easy to install

This product is easy to install and after two months is working fine. I recommend this item.

needs improvement

I am satisfied with this product EXCEPT: It takes WAY too long to fill a tea cup. You need to increase the flow rate. Your claim about 60 cups per hour means that it take a full minute to fill a cup. That is ridiculous - - - 30 seconds is more like it. Also the strainer screen causes a weird non-uniform flow of water that always makes me think that it is partially plugged.

Great Product

Looks quite sleek and works great! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an instant hot water system. This replace one that I already had that stopped working. This new one is much better looking and easier to operate. My previous one had a plastic on/off handle that broke and was a weak point of the system.

I am so glad I got this product! It is much better quality than the last one i had and I am very pleased with the function and look of it!

Versatile product

I really enjoy my hot water dispenser. I thought it would be used occasionally but instead it is used daily to help with many kitchen chores and cooking needs. ‘Love it!

Service from Insinkereator could be better

Purchased the first unit and installed it. The unit had a chemical taste and odor. I boiled water in microwave to compare. No smell or taste with microwave. I called the company they gave me a run around hesitating to replace. I went back on Amazon whom i purchased it from and they sent me a replacement with no problem.I did also purchase a filter just in case and this eliminated all problems. I had to pay $20.00 to return to Amazon I feel I should of been reimbursed. Great unit though this is m...
