Horrible

This product leaks and was difficult to install. It is still not operational

Great, BUT

I am a registered Master Plumber of 30 years. I have been installing ISE products for as long as I remember. This model was a replacement of another similar model that lasted about 5 years. It was difficult to get used to this 'newer' model for 2 reasons. 1) The handle is smaller in diameter. 2) the spout is slightly shorter in length.

The product does what it's suppose to do

This is a great product. It would be so much better if it was "reasonably priced". I feel like this is way more money then it should be. I realize you pay for "convenience".

Love the convenience!

The unit has been working without fail since installation (about 1 month). I unfortunately did not consider the energy consumption side - there is an occasional low sound (kind of like a distant plane) that indicates water is heating, so there is that additional energy consumption beyond microwaving a cup of water. But the convenience is so nice. Plus, you get instant hot water for cleaning so you don't have to wait for hot water to come out of the regular tap.

Thinking about turning off my big water heater. I use half cold water & half dispenser hot water & it's just the correct temp to wash dishes. hot water takes too long to come from the garage to the sink & wastes a lot of water. installation was difficult cause it needed an electrical plug. installer finally solved the problem by disconnecting my dishwasher & using that line. I dont use my dish washer cause it uses too much water. I live green

NICE but not repairable

I bought this product to replace the current product I already had. Our plumber and plumbing supply company told us that this product is NOT REPAIRABLE. The plumber stated that it is the only downside of the product. There should be parts avaialble to repair these items rather than always having to repalce them

great features

I just needed to replace the tank unit; very easy and simple. love the system; a must have for any kitchen

Installed in November not working by march

There is no trouble shooting manual or possibly a breaker to fix this, I loved it when it worked

Does not heat to proper level

We expected to heat water to near boil or 190 degrees to make a quick cup of coffee or tea. Hot water isn't instant, we must run water for 5-10 seconds to get to bet heating temp. Also, often run one cup of water into cup or press to heat first then run water for final brew.

Worth it

We paid a bit more for this one than the original, but it was well worth it. Easier to install and just sturdier that the less expensive models. More hot water too.

Works great

Instant hot water. Easy to install although hard to get at under the sink.

The product functions as stated. I really like the convenience of the hot water.

It's a great product.. It's hard to now to imagine not having it.

Happy with product.

Wish the hot line coming from the heater was copper instead of rubber. I always think about chemicals leaching out of rubber hose contaminating my coffee water!

Does everything I expected.

If you are looking for immediate hot water this product does the trick. The only negative was necessary parts to install are not included with necessitated a trip to the plumbing supply store but once installed it does all as advertised.

Great product - great feature!

Product is well designed, easy to install (for anyone having done some plumbing previously) and works great. Give it lots of time for the water to run initially and plenty of time to burp while the water is heating. It all settles down eventually.

Not as good as before

I don't like the fact that the handle turns only to the back. On occasion it spits and drips hot water. The old one never did this.

Terrible Information

They never tell you what you need to install it so when you do try you are missing needed parts but you have already opened the box and packaging. Trying to get the correct parts at places like Lowes and Home Depot is like finding a needle in a haystack, if the needle is even there

Wrong product, but...

We actually purchased an Invite Hot150 to replace a previous insinkerator that had lasted us almost 20 years. The installation was made more difficult than necessary because the copper tubing on this one is a little shorter, so there were additional trips to Lowes for spare parts. However, once it was in, the wife was very happy with it, which means that I am.
