Product does not hold up

This is the third unit I have installed in the last six years. Would like to pay more for better quality. Can't go to your better models due to size limitation

This is our 3rd HOT! at this location. They seem to work fine for about 5 years then each one a started to leak from a broker seams on the side of the tank. Therefore in my mind they have a 5 years useful life.

Works like the old one--great

This replaced the original HOT-1 in this house. The previous owners had installed that one; an easy decision "like for like"...

It's a wait-and-see

Mechanically, this water dispenser works well at this point and is performing the job. I do not like the plastic handle; just seems like a flimsy piece. Also, it's only warranted a year, and the last one we had just like this one quit working just a few weeks after the warranty had expired. So if this one only lasts a year as well, we won't be getting another one. I have also been told by another person that they had the same thing happen to them.

The product is very useful to me.

I purchased the cheaper hot water dispenser. I wish I would have paid for the larger version, like the one I had. It would have had to have been ordered, it looked nicer, it never dripped. I did not respond to your previous review request because I was not completely pleased with this purchase for those reasons. ok for the price

Should be called in-leak-erator. Usually leaks after several years.

Very easy installation.

Very easy to install in a small space. Having only one copper line on the hot water dispenser tank to connect to the cold water line made installation very easy. Some of the other dispensers had three connections so I chose this model for ease of installation. It's less expensive but it works fine. If it works for a few years, I'll be pleased. Takes about 15 minutes to install. A bit noisier than our previous larger Insinkerator hot water dispenser, but the slight bubbling noise isn't bad.

Product performs as advertised

This unit replaces another Insinkerator Hot 1 we installed about 6 years ago. I recommend turning down the thermostat from the factory setting. The water is still plenty hot to make tea or instant coffee. I think this increases the longevity of the unit.

So easy to use

My daughter in law had this in her house. Didn't know it existed. Very easy to start water for pasta, rice, vegetables. Very easy to have oatmeal, tea.

Easy to install.

Easy to install. The under sink tightening of the nut can be a challenge due to space constraints. The way to deal with that is to align spigot up and tighten the nut under the sink before tightening the top nut and cap.

Just what I wanted !

Instantly heats up my coffee cup to insure a good hot cup of coffee from my coffee maker, Great for tea, cocoa, instant oatmeal, etc Also great for rinsing butter from spoons prior to washing.

For over 35 years we have had an instant hot water dispenser next to our kitchen sink. If you have never had one you do not know the number of times each day you use hot water in preparing foods. Even when I need boiling water I start with water from my Instant Hot Water Dispenser poured into my pain, then I place it on the stove and quickly bring the water temperature up to boiling--much faster than starting with tap water and bringing it to a boil. product had several defects

Never has any problems with insinkerator products before. Until this insta hot. Will never purchase this model again. Spend more money and get something worth installing.

Multi use appliance.

We have used our heater for instant coffee, tea, hot chocolate, pet food prep, soup water addition, bullion, preheating coffee water for a French press, pre-rinsing stuck on food from dishes and silverware, and pre-warming tea pots. Hot water recovery time is very fast - faster than an electric stove. A definite kitchen asset.

this product is easy to install.

This is my third Hot1 in the past 6 years. I continue to buy it as I would have a hole in my granite counter if I didnt. The product does not have a constant even flow of water after a while and it is starting do do it now. I love the instant hot water for my coffee, but not the inconvenience of how it spits out after a while. If I need to do something to rectify this issue, let me know.

Love the hot water

Previous one lasted 10 years -just replaced it. It was leaking from the box. Easy installation. Love my hot water could have it whenever I need hot water don't have to wait for water to boil. Only thing is I would hope they would change the casing to something more durable than plastic. Great price compared to others. Wish had different finishes.
