Had it only for a month

So far it has been perfect. I had it professionally installed so don't know to what degree this is a DIY. And of course the proof is in the pudding. My previous instant hot (not Insinkerator) eventually developed a leak - after about a year. Can't say about this one. Contact me in a few years.

So far the product works great

We have only had the product for a few weeks. It works great now. I hope that it lasts a long time. That is when I would be able to give a much better opinion on the product.

Great product. Just a couple complaints

2 issues. Replaced an old unit that developed leaks. Wish they could make more robust and last longer. Couldn't find just a replacement tank at reasonable price. Hook up lines to heater (other than water supply) are too Short! Arrangement under my sink requires tank be placed In front on disposal on side wall requiring lots of extra work And parts with extra trips to hardware store. Making these lines 18" longer wouldn't cost more than a few pennys

Work well.....hot water at 3/4 temp set

Nice looking top spout. Push button was a surprise easy feature to use. Installation is ok. The most difficult part of installation was attaching the, nut, flang and washer up under the sink.

Love it

I bought this because I'm a tea drinker and I was walking away from my boiling kettle and almost burn the house down. Now I have tea, boiling water when I want it at my fingertips I recommend it highly. I recommended and my son bought one

What I expected

Always had an insta-hot dispenser. This is my 3rd one and it is just as I hoped for. Installation was very easy, because it was a replacement, took out the old and installed the new. I love tea and this is ideal for that quick cup. I can as also "jump start" boiling water. I love the Insinkerator brand and have had very good luck with the brand.

Fourth installation in 25 years.

As with previous water heaters, this current model works well. As all fitting were in place, installation took less than 15 minutes. Previous installations took approximately 30 minutes and all worked great from the first dispense. The newest unit has a responsive temperature gauge/dial and we had hot water for tea in less than 10 minutes.

INSINKERATOR HOT 1

I love the insinkerator hiot 1 I recently moved to n.carolina and wanted one for the new house,but was disappointed when I learned they are no longer in production.I looked high and low trying to find one,finally finding one on ebay.I`m not crazy about the current models,too big and too fancy.I hope you will start producing the hot 1 again !

Connections now easier than before

Finally enhanced connections make it much easier to install. Still a little tardy on the lengths of connection tubes and power pigtail. With disposers, soap dishes, pull-out faucets, remote drain, you will need all the flexibility you can get! I am still hoping the tank holds out longer than my prior 3 units.

Very handy source of boiling water

Meets my needs for a quick cup of tea, or source of really hot water. It's noisy as it cycles on and off and if the setting is too hot it will spit hot steam and water. A little hard to regulate. I wish it had an on off switch so I could turn it off when I go on vacation - I now have to crawl under the sink to unplug it so it won't spit here the whole time I'm away. Basically, good service for a low price

Was the HOT 100 not the Hot 1 that we purchased

The unit was easy to install and has performed as described. This was a replacement for a Hot 1 which broke apart and caused moisture leakage. I would not recommend the Hot 1.

The product is excellent. The website did not allow me to enter the correct product number a Hot 100 not a Hot 1.

Easy to install, not totally pleased with performance

My family has enjoyed the H770 series, having replaced the tank once. When the 2nd tank started leaking, we decided to try the Hot1 series. Installation was quite easy and the press-down lever is easier to use than the twist-style from the H770. That said, the approximate 10F temperature difference seems to deliver sub-standard performance. Also, if trying to improve performance (i.e. increase temperature), the audible noise and/or spitting associated with fine-tuning to the upper limit is somew...

This product has great features and is really useful

My husband and I are sorry we waited so long to have one of these. We both like to fix hot tea drinks and this is so much easier than heating hot water in the microwave or on the stove. This product is wonderful. You will be glad you have one.

the unit is working great you get hot water in an instant by pushing down on handle., a good investment

Great product!

We replaced an old different brand of hot water with this new model of InSinkErator with a turn handle. The water gets nice and hot plus it looks good. The handle is easier to turn than the old turn handle InSinkErator model. I bought it at a big box store so there was no delivery or customer service to date.
