Very well made.

I had one previously, a different brand, and almost never used it. My new InSinkErator is so much nicer that I use it all the time. Love it!

Had to replace unit three times in four years.

We are on third Hot1 unit. Keeps breaking. We buy replacements only because it fits into the space under our sink. When it works, we like it.

This product delivers very hot water and is easy to use.

The hot water dispenser meets many of my needs: cleaning stuck food in pots and pans, making hot chocolate and soup. It's easy to use. The only problem I have had is when I turn it off, it will occasionally drip continually. Most time I move the lever once or twice and it will stop dripping.

this product does not work well for my business

this product was purchased because we do not have hot water at our business location and we wanted some warmer water to wash our hands, the water that comes out of this unit is 190 degrees, which is entirely to hot and people are scalding their hands. we have it set at the lowest level and if it runs for 20 seconds it will cool down and then it is cold water again.

This dispenser fits in tight spots all in one unit

Hot 1 is great for custom cabinets, I wish that insinkerator would continue to make it. The new replacement is to big cause it has a separate tank. Please reinstate the old design I'm sure I'm not the only one with minimal space in the cabinet. The bad thing is that this dispenser will only last 3 to 4 years and when it goes out I won't be able to replace it.

We will see how long it lasts

We had an Insta Hot at our old house for 30 years and it worked perfectly but it was because it was VERY well built back then....built to last. This new product is very cheaply made, absolutely nothing like the original one. The plumber who installed it said that the new ones only last about 2 years now because the are so poorly made. Even the little spiket on the sink feels like it will break easily. Although it works and does give hot water, I am very disappointed in the quality of the product...

Compact but powerful

I installed this unit in my kitchen during a renovation of the entire room. The kitchen didn't have an instant hot water tank prior to this. I needed something compact/slender because of how much space I had available .This unit was reasonably priced and fits perfectly. I love it.

PERFORMED BEAUTIFULLY, BUT OF ALL THINGS, THE HANDLE BROKE

It''s been operating flawlessly for 11 years (an older version of this model#. Tried to draw water one morning and the handle broke at the fulcrum that opens and closes the on-off valve. After 11 years...poor me. Will purchase another with a metal handle. Have looked at replacements, but hope we find one with the metal handle and no plastic #hopefully# at a stress point. Great hot water dispenser

This is the second one I bought as the first one was spewing out water randomly. Hopefully second time lucky. Need to check the pressure when installing as can burn you accidentally otherwise. Great to have hot water instantly!

This is my second InsinkErator Instant Hot Water Dispenser as the original installed in 2003 rusted out in the tank. I wouldn't do without this convenience in my home. I use it daily for making tea, soups, hot chocolate for my grand children, it is so versatile. Any thing that calls for hot water you have it in an instant,

A must have in any kitchen

This is a great addition to our newly remodeled kitchen. I use it almost on a daily basis for tea water. Good to use for boiling water to make it quicker. Also for sauces. All around great product.

Good value

Have had many and they usually fail after a couple years.But for the money it is a good deal and very easy to install once the first one was installed. The current one is performing much better than all others

Works well, but doesn't last

This is my third Hot1. When it's working, it's quite satisfactory. Unfortunately, the last one failed 6 months after the warranty expired. The new one has an even shorter warranty. If I had room under the sink, I'd probably buy something else.

Had to have it!!

When we moved our new place didn't have one. So, when we remodeled our kitchen this was a must have. We have owned one for over 30 years and find it convenient for not just coffee but everyday use.

Great product while it works.

This product provides great hot water conveniences. The unfortunate truth is it is very unreliable. I have had to re-buy/replace this unit with a new one over five times (in the last twenty years) and counting. It is the only size that fits my available kitchen counter space.
