Love the convenience of this instant hot water!

We love the convenience of having hot water at instant. I had recommenced to my family and they went out and got one installed, they too, love the convenience of it! Great convenience since my wife uses instant coffee & I use tea.

We have used this product before and like the convenience .After a few years the dispenser starts to spit and sputter and causes splashes on the user. I believe this is caused by a buildup of calcium on the heater causing the bubbles. Since there is no way to replace the element A new one must be installed. This is our third one. I opened one of the older ones and i could see the build up on the heating element. I still have the old one if you would like to see this for yourself. It would be nic...

Dissapointed

I had the older model and loved it. This new one does not measure up. It has no insulation, and therefore is extremely noisy. Also, the sink area surrounding it is hot, and could cause a burn. The spigot "spits" and sprays water on me somtimes on its own. OUCH. Give me the old model. It got a leak after 33 years, and the plumber was unable to find a part, but that was a long time. I apologize for this tardy reply, but I was hospitalized and unable to use a computer.

Lever style works best for me

This is my third hot water dispenser - and the best design of them all. Easier by far to use than having to grab and turn a big flat knob. Also I get more hot water without it starting to sputter. Love it. Plumber installed it so I'm clueless as to "ease of installation" and "delivery on time". No reason to call customer service either. So I'm no help there. :)

Convenient!

I've been putting off buying one of these for years, mainly due to concerns over power use. I thought for sure this would run up an electricity bill. But after having a baby and getting sick of waiting on bottles to warm at night, I finally broke down and bought it. Now I could kick myself for not having done it years ago. This product delivers hot water in an instant!

I have had several InSinkErator hot water dispensers and have enjoyed them all. The only fault I have found with this model it that it make a lot of noise when it is heating and it does make the counter around the faucet warm. But it is not enough a a problem to change it out as it preforms great.

This product does what it's meant to do.

We get very hot water instantly with the product and wouldn't want to be without it! We love the Instant Hot and have had one for 9 years. This is our 3rd in 9 years with our first lasting only a year, our second lasted 8 years and we are not quite a year into our current. I'm hopeful to get at least 5 years out of this one. I know they don't always last long, but the convenience is worth it.

The best unit for the money

This is our second unit. The first one lasted about 5 years or so before burning out. There are no better units on the market even though most other ones cost quite a bit more.

great product

I love having instant hot water. So handy. Just wish it had a metal or more sturdy handle to dispense.

I just love my hot water dispenser. it is the most convenient product. Use it all the time to make coffee.

Suggestions for change

The unit is small and fairly easy to fit into tight under-sink spaces. It is not well-insulated, and therefore loses heat ,frequently recycling, which is noisy. By opening the outer shell and packing the copper tank with fiberglass insulation, it is much quieter and more efficient.

Bliss

It is a pleasure to get hot water instantly. No more wasting water while waiting for it to get hot. It is hot enough to make hot chocolate or even instant coffee. I recommend this product.

A must have

I love my inSinkErator, I use it every day. Great to have hot water at the push of a handle. It was very easy to install as well. Looks great. Also bought one for my in laws who love it too.

Works well and was easy to install.

This product works well and is very easy to install. It provides adequate hot water for our needs and we are a tea drinking household. The only drawback is the lifespan of the heating element if you have hard water.

Hot water dispenser

I I would be lost without it. It is extremely convenient especially when guess drop by. You don't have to put up a kettle. My mother in law loves it, and treats it like some magic fountain.

First of all, I bought this as a new house gift for my daughter & husbands recently purchased home in Calif. There wasn't a disposal installed when the house was built but everything electrically was available. They also had a septic field which was a concern for not wanting a disposal. 1 year life

If you plan on using this product every day like I do, then plan on it only lasting 1 year which is a little disappointing. A coffee pot is a lot cheaper to replace and last several years. I enjoy having hot water at a moments notice I just don't know how often my husband will replace the unit and i'm sure not paying a plumber to take out and install another one.

This product has been very useful

We use the insinkErator every day for hot drinks and also for quick clean up avoiding using the dishwasher for only one or two items. The product is also useful when you need hot water for clean ups which regular water will not handle and kills germs at the same time.

This product does exactly what it says it does.

Other than a little noise of as if the water is boiling (not really loud at all) I love the fact that I can drink my tea immediately. Very convieniant and easy to use.
