Would RecommendNot sure how the other reviewers broke this jig but I used this on my steel exterior door and it worked like a charm. Took me less than 30 minutes to install a new deadbolt versus $200 by a locksmith. The jig IS plastic and only meant as a guide and NOT a support for the hole saw. Keep the drill level and once the center bit makes a hole just go slowly with the hole saw. Brute force will cause the hole saw to catch and twist the drill which could break the jig. Also, don't torque the jig attachi...

Ok hole saw kit
Would RecommendUsed this kit to redrill opening on front door. Worked somewhat noticed that the plastic housing didn't hold up very long. Went back for the Milwaukee one. Ok if your cutting just wood doors but not for metal doors

Mandrel problems
Would Not RecommendI like how sturdy this fits on the door, however, the mandrel only fits the larger hole saw bit. It's too large for the 1" bit so I'm stuck buying another bit or mandrel.
