Would RecommendRead instructions completely and you'll have a Great experience! I built a Custom Door from reclaimed shipping crates and needed this to install the latch as well as the hinges. It worked Great! My customer (my daughter) loved the Door and now wants me to replace all 4 of her "Factory" Doors with "Custom" ones...Yikes!

Would RecommendI had to put a new door personnel door on my detached garage. I am not a carpenter, but I did it from scratch and this tool made it simple to make sure the door knob was in the correct position.

Works, but barely
Would Not RecommendI’ve done 2 doors so far, 5 more to go... I don’t think it’ll make it. Too flimsy and the hole saws are eating the plastic guides. BEWARE: the drill insert for the hole saws DOES NOT fit the 1” bit. I had to buy another 1” hole saw for $10. If you have to do more than one door, buy a better unit

Would Not RecommendI had to enlarge a deadbolt hole in an older steel door from 1 1/2" to 2 1/8" and I thought this product would help. It did but the hole saw guide was too flimsy to keep the larger hole saw on a straight path (even with the old hole filled with a 1 1/2" dowel to give it a fighting chance). Unfortunately, the guide flexed (a lot) while drilling and in the process marred the door. I had to use a brass backing ring to hide the damage. I also had the same issue as others, with the 2 1/8" hole saw b...

Would RecommendI had the same problem as many others noted, the large hole saw gets stuck to the threaded adapter(used so the bit can screw into the larger hole in the 2 1/8). The first couple of times I was able to break it apart, but then the adapter came off with the bit. could not separate.
