Mortising template nice but flimsy

Most locksets are easy to install, all you need is the set back dimensions which is usually included as a paper template with the lock set. However since the lock industry decided to switch from square cornered door plates to rounded ones, the installation is made difficult. Problems with supplied mandrill

The large auger uses 1/2 inch mandrel which is supplied but the smaller auger for the bolt uses a 3/8 mandrell wish I had to go out and buy separately

Do not buy!!

This is poorly made and broke after using it on one door. It's made with cheap plastic. Do not buy and use unless you want to ruin your doors. Total waste of money. I bought a door jig from a different brand and had no issues. So mad I wasted my money on this and it ruined my door!

Door Knob Hole Saw Kit

Very nice kit. Be careful when you open it, I lost the router bit that fits in drill, UHH. Everything else works good as long as you follow detailed instructions, like securing guide with screws. Good luck and take your time, one slight adjustment could ruin your door.

Door drill kit

The door hole bracket was amazing, however the drill hole tool was dang near impossible to get the big one off and put the small one on to drill the 2nd hole. You have to switch the drill bit back and forth between the two hole cutters. Took us a long time to break them free to do so

Defect

So I followed the instructions carefully, attached the bigger hole saw to the pilot. If I ran the drill freely and stopped, the moment would cause the hole saw to thread off the pilot. No big deal i drilled anyway, and it completely locked onto the pilot! I absolutely could not remove it to use the other size hole saw. I actually cut myself trying to screw it off with ALL my strength. Luckily I had other hole saws to complete the job. The rest of the tools it came with were very nice and did a g...

Finally a recess that fits

The little router bit for the drill is great. Made a perfect recess space for the dead bolt lock I purchased. The template that screws to the door is perfect.

Hole saw didn't cut as fast as expected, but still a good product.

I wouldn't attempt this task without it!

Includes everything except a chisel for a professional installation. Drilled through steel doors and didn't dull the hole saw. The bits do get hot when drilling so a bit of oil or WD40 on the threads to help seperate after use

The large hole saw stuck to the bit and was very difficult to remove. Take precautions while using so this doesn’t happen to you. Overall the product is worth buying but be aware you may need additional tools to remove the hole saw bit, or an additional bit if you can’t get them apart.

Junk

It was not good for what I needed. I was opening a hole to fit the new hardware. Saw cut into the plastic guide. I nearly lost the door.

easy to use hole saw for all locks

great product, made the job of installing door handles and locks easy...even worked to alter excisting pre-drilled holes.
