Would RecommendJust what we wanted: a sturdy metal vent cap that will not disintegrate from the heat of the sun like our old plastic one. The damper inside is plastic, but it won't be exposed to direct sunlight. And even if it does, there's a metal grill on the outside that will keep birds from climbing into the vent to build nests.
