What Customers Are Saying
The Hunter ceiling fan offers powerful airflow and quiet operation, though the installation process can be challenging for some users. Many customers praised the modern design, but several reported issues with attaching the light kit, including unclear instructions and difficulties with the wiring setup. Some also experienced problems with wobbling, humming noises, and flickering lights. Overall, the fan appears to be a quality product, but the installation may require extra time and care, especially when connecting the light kit.

Would RecommendOk. So I was reading these reviews while standing in Lowe’s and they honestly weren’t convincing. But I wanted to install the a fan soon, so I took a chance and bought this one. So I read all of the instructions first. Each bag has a symbol on it. The symbol is shown with each step in the manual. This is how you know EXACTLY which screws you need with each step. Do not open all the bags first. Open the bags only as needed. Secondly, two people will make this easier. Installing the blades while...
Assemble the fan and light kit before you hang it!
Would RecommendI'm seriously shocked at the negative reviews due to assembly. The instructions have you put everything together overhead which would be a total nightmare. Common sense dictated to me that I should do all of the assembly on the floor which made installing a breeze. The fan spins super fast and moves a lot of air. I was skeptical at first because we had a non sure speed hunter fan in our bedroom before this and it wasn't powerful enough to keep us cool at night. This one is so much better. If yo...
Will not fit Color Phillips hue
Would Not RecommendThis fan will not accommodate Phillips hue color bulbs. Bought this fan to put two color bulbs into to have sweet color rave parties but not only was it difficult to install but after the 3 hour install trying to screw the glass dome over the bulbs it just wouldn't go.
1995 called & wants its pull chain fan back!
Would Not RecommendBought this fan without noticing it’s powered by pull chains and not a remote. It’s 2021 why are there still fans being made without remotes? I give it two stars because it’s looks nice but other than that I wouldn’t recommend unless you live in a hobbit house.
Non-binary intersectionalist ceiling fan
Would RecommendWe replaced a Hunter ceiling fan that was 23 yrs old. The old one still worked in every way which says something about the brand. However, our tastes have changed over the years and this one was simple, minimalist, and attractive. Works great, looks great, installation was easy.
Poor design for installation
Would Not RecommendI have installed approximately 30 ceiling fans in my life. The design of this fan (from an installation perspective) is the worst I’ve ever encountered. Virtually impossible to install the light fixture properly and impossible without magnetized screw driver
Stylishly functional
Would RecommendRemoving the old fan and installing this new Hunter fan took about 45 minutes. The new fan is incredibly quiet in low mode and although there is a balancing package included, it was not needed. A great upgrade.
Great Fan!
Would RecommendI would like to counteract some of the bad reviews here by saying we had a contractor install two of these fans today and they’re great. He didn’t have any trouble building or installing them - they look and work great! One of them has a slight wobble and a scratch on the globe but it’s hardly noticeable. Would recommend having someone assist with install.
