Quiet and attractive.

Well-built and attractive. Make the room appear larger. Note: The screws that hold the light housing to the fan housing are difficult to install.

Fan is attractive and despite other reviews I found it no harder to install than any other one. Almost did not buy it based on the installation reviews. Glad I did because it wasn't difficult.

Easy to install

Moves air really we bought it for a small guest room that’s warmer than the rest of the house. It cools down the room really fast!

Poor Lighting

Easy to install, great air flow and quit motor. Biggest issue is poor lighting from two bulbs causing it to be dim. Frosty glass cause light to be too dim.

I’m frugal. this fan was worth going over budget!

It moves a lot of air and cools the room fast at medium speed It’s CFS (Cubic Feet per Second) was the highest I found at Lowe’s for a small to medium room. It was installed against the ceiling and was easy to install. The light has replaceable LED bulbs, and provides light to the whole room without glare. Crossfield Installation

I have no problem with the quality of the Hunter Fans. Eight out of eleven fans in our house are Hunter Fans. The design engineer should have to install this model to see how poor the light kit design is to install. The three mounting screws are in the middle of all the electric components and have to almost be installed blindly.

The light kit

Installed three fans , one being hung off a three foot rod . I liked the look of the fan and knew what to expect on the installation from the reviews. Yes the light kit was a bit of a challenge but as long as you have a magnetic Phillips screwdriver you will be Ok . Hunter is one of the few fan companies that offers A fan that is compatible with the option of using one or two wall switches for separate light and fan on and off Switch control. Great fan but little difficult to install.

Beautiful and moves a lot of air. Installation of the lamp is a lot harder than it should be.

Not Beginner Level Install But Worth The Hassle :)

I bought this fan because of the Hunter brand and stylish looks with four blades instead of five. That's where the honeymoon ended. I've installed at least a dozen ceiling fans, and this was by far the most awkward. Attaching and connecting the light kit was the most challenging. There was VERY LITTLE space to work and it was difficult to see what you were doing even with a headlamp. The worst light kit installation design imaginable

If you are installing a fan yourself, save yourself the hassles of installing the light kit on this one and buy a different fan.

Beautiful

After reading all the reviews and Q and A’s , we purchased the fan. Our handyman hung it with a 24 inch down rod. Installation took about an hour and 10 minutes. We switched the soft white LED bulbs for daylight bulbs and increased the brightness. Love love love it. Beautiful ,quiet, and well balanced.great choice

Very difficult light fixture installation

Assembly is difficult, specifically the lighting fixture. I just did four Hunter fans, and after struggling with the first one, started assembling the fan and light fixture before hanging the fan and wiring it. Much easier.
