Great Fan!

I have installed 5 of these in my home to-date. They are very quiet at all speeds. My one complaint is regarding the installation instructions. Instructions state for you to hang the motor up before installing blades, lighting controls, etc. DO NOT DO THIS. It's so much easier to mount the blades, lights, etc. AND THEN hang the fan. super classy

We updated our kitchen and it was time for the oil rubbed antique brass fan to go, our cabinet color is sherwin Williams pearly white and the wall colors are Benjamin Moore smoke embers gray and this fan is a home run. It moves a lot of air. Hunter quality makes our harbor breeze brand fans look like rubbish.

Terrible instructions and assembly

We put up 3 harbor breeze fans in our home no issue, we purchased this hunter ceiling fan for our bedroom and it was terribly hard to put together, unnecessary steps, confusing instructions...I would love to meet who ever developed this, sooooo many questions

No air flow

I purchased 3 different fans and hired an electrician to install. The cheaper, smaller fans all move the air more than this one does. It needs to be on the highest setting to get any wind and is noisy. This is a terrible fan. The $50 fans I purchased for the bedrooms are better.

Fan Blades 1-1/2” Out of Level

Wish I had read the reviews on this before I bought it. The fan blades were so far out of level that no amount of weights could fix it. The motor hum is also louder than the wind from the fan. Do not waste your money or your time, I now need to disassemble and return.

Hunter fan

Great operation but difficult to install. The fan mounting bracket screw holes for mating to existing standard junction box threaded holes do not match. Had to fabricate a flat metal plate with two sets of holes, one for the junction box and a wider set for the fan mounting bracket. Also, have to tighten the light kit assembly from/through the metal switch/wiring box which is basically a blind-screwing operation through the switch and dense wires.

Love these fans!

These fans are awesome! I needed to replace all of the upstairs fans as they were seriously outdated, but I didn't want to work about remotes. These are exactly what I needed, so I bought 3 of them, and have already had 2 of them installed. I declined trying to put them up myself, in favor of an electrician, so I can't comment on the difficulty some have had. They look great and provide great air movement. Not as advertised.

We purchased 2 of these fans, Installation was somewhat difficult. Instructions are well done, and if you follow it step by step will succeed. Problem started right after installation. The motor and noisy, and the additional noise from blades rotating sounds like a helicopter is hoovering over you. most of the reviews were right

Hunter has always been the number one choice of most people, quality, design and price.. But this fan was on special and I can see why. The instructions were very hard to follow. Some steps were not outlined like they should have been. Whoever decided to put the reverse direction switch on the inside must not change the direction ever!. If your very handy then take the challenge, if not buy a different Hunter fan. Still love my Hunter Fan from 20 years ago !!

Very powerful

Very powerful and sturdy fan. It did need to be balanced with the included balancing kit, but it was easy and likely a result of the specific installation in the ceiling/electrical box, rather than a deficiency with the fan itself. It is whisper quiet, which is a welcome relief from the loud grinding noise my previous non-Hunter fan was. Very nice looking fan. Pretty easy to put up. Hunter improved the instructions.

Sweaty job

We replaced a ceiling fan that was functioning ‘ok’ but had an annoying sound after it was running for more than an hour! Selected this fan based on the modern look of the blade attachment and the color of the blades. Out of the box the packaging was fine, no issues with any chips or missing items. LOVE IT

Wow! This fan is amazing it actually feels like an outside breeze. We have had Hunter ceiling fans for the longest time and THIS is my favorite one. Lowe's and Hunter have teamed up to make a GREAT product! Cross shopping is a waste of time as this can only be purchased at Lowe's. My only gripe is the the light could brighter.
