What Customers Are Saying
The Hunter ceiling fan offers powerful airflow and quiet operation, though the installation process can be challenging for some users. Many customers praised the modern design, but several reported issues with attaching the light kit, including unclear instructions and difficulties with the wiring setup. Some also experienced problems with wobbling, humming noises, and flickering lights. Overall, the fan appears to be a quality product, but the installation may require extra time and care, especially when connecting the light kit.

Dim lighting, whirring noise
Would Not RecommendWe purchased these fans because we heard the brand is good quality and a quiet fan was a requirement for us. However, I am now getting rid of these fans because there is a whirring noise on the slowest setting. The lights are SO SO SO dim. I replaced the bulbs with better LED bulbs and they are still very dim. Once the fans were installed, they look cheap and out of place. I do not recommend and will be avoiding this brand of fans moving forward. I am very disappointed having spent over $300 on ...
Lights do not work
Would Not RecommendI purchased 3 of these Ceiling Fans. This is the 3rd and the fan portion works but not the lights. I checked the wires, no issues there. The 2nd of the 3 wobbles on high speed, cannot a adjust. The 1st CF works fine. Only 1 out of 3.

Wobbly, difficult installation
Would Not RecommendThe installation was way more difficult than any other fan I've installed. Specifically the light kit was inexcusably difficult to install. You have to feed a group of wires through a box already full of wires, plug it in, then somehow feed a screwdriver and screw through the same mess of wires to screw it in. Once I finally got the fan up, it was the wobbliest thing I've ever seen. Thought it was going to fly off the ceiling, which it very well might have if I hadn't screwed everything in so t...
Nutso Internal Design & Painful Install =Great Fan
Would RecommendI watched the electrician install this beast and lemme tell ya, although he was extremely patient and persevered through it all, he not happy with the whole process and hoped that was the only one he had to install for us. The internal design of setting up the screws way deep past the cramped clustermuck of wires was a real biotch.Took longer to complete by someone who knows what he's doing so I can only imagine what the install would be like for a fat-fingered weekend warrior. YOU NEED A MAGNE...
I've installed many fans over the years and this one is ridiculous with the attachments of the light housing being a massive challenge to one's patience. After only 2 months the fan housing is making a rubbing./ scraping noise. Getting ready to toss it and buy another brand. Disappointed in the quality slide Hunter.
Crap product
Would Not RecommendPretty fan and works great for few months then it starts making a noice we have 4 on our ceiling and have had to replace 3 of them faulty berrings don't buy this
Difficult to install, expensive parts
Would Not RecommendFan itself is attractive. But! Like a number of other observation it is much harder than normal to install. There’s a small bolt your supposed to install (One of three supporting light) into a very cramped area; crowded with wires and components; in which you can’t really see. Several reviews said they attempted this repeatedly and finally just just left it off. They said they reported this to Hunter, who acknowledged the problem. After repeated attempts, we left the bolt out too. With ...

Excessive to extreme wobble, unable to balance
Would Not RecommendExcessive wobble on low speed, extreme wobble/loud whooping sound and fan wants to dislodge from ceiling bracket. Used balancing clip on all 4 blades at least 100 plus times, unable to balance at all. Very frustrating.
Excessive wobble, unable to balance
Would Not RecommendExcessive wobble on all speeds, noise on medium and high
Unbalanced and difficult to install.
Would Not RecommendAs others have written, this fan is extremely unbalanced and wobbly. Spent several hours using the included balancing kit and couldn't get the wobble out of this fan. I even returned it and got another thinking maybe I just got one that slipped passed quality control, but it was even worse than the first one. That should be reason enough to pass on this fan, but the installation is also unnecessarily complicated. To attach the light, you have to fish 3 small screws through a mess of wires th...
