Don’t buy this fan

 Would Not Recommend

I have installed 50+ ceiling fans and this is the most difficult to install that I’ve ever seen. The screw holes for the light assembly to attach to the fan motor is impossible to access because it is located inside the wiring compartment of the light kit. Poor design.

Difficult To Install and Did Not Work

 Would Not Recommend

As most of these reviews noted, this fan is a pain in the butt to install—took me more than 4 hours—and then I spent the next two hours troubleshooting to determine why it wasn’t working. Even had a former electrician lineman come over to verify it was installed correctly. I am now in the 40th minute on hold with Hunter. I’m done. A total waste of my time. Don’t waste yours.

Buyer beware electrical noise!

 Would Not Recommend

If you use a combo wall switch to control this unit will make a very annoying noise. Hunter only says to try other switches. Avoid unless you like pulling your hair out!

Missing brackets for the fan. I couldn’t even put the fan up because the brackets to hold the blades were missing! I’m taking it back tomorrow because I haven’t been able to go back just yet.

The fan is fine. It does hum when you first turn it on but it goes away. Seems fine to me. I’ll have more to say when its running constantly in the summer.

installation was trickier than expected but the fan is very good quality. avoid using a dimmer switch with this fan or you will get an awful humming noise

Very Noisy Humming sound,

 Would Not Recommend

I purchased 3 of these at Lowes in Vero Beach in September installed 2 in September and the 3rd one today. All 3 have a constant humming sound 2 of them have to be turned off at night because they are so annoying.

This fan does a great job moving the air in our bedroom. It is very quiet and doesn’t wobble like our old fan . The instructions to install the fan were simple and easy to read and understand . The installation was easy to preform. The color and the finish of the fan motor is really nice. The fan is well built and the price was reasonable.. I would recommended this Hunter fan to family or friends .
