Horrible products. And customer service

They have cheap made dehumidifiers. And they last about 4 months then quit. Hisense customer service is horrible and no help once so ever. I highly recommend you buy a different brand.

Garbage - Don't Buy

First one lasted 1 year. 2nd one lasted another year. Supposedly "industrial grade", top of the line. JUNK!!! DO NOT BUY!!!

Works better than my last dehumidifier

This dehumidifier keeps basement at 50% humidity or below. Works better than the one that died.

1 year operational :(

Ran great the1st summer. Half way through the 2nd season it quit discharging out the hose. We had to manually empty the bucket. Start of the 3rd season, the fan runs, but does not pull out any water from the air. It will be replaced, but not with a Hisense product, and perhaps not anything from Lowes, either.

Absolute Garbage - Don't Buy

I have had 4 of these, they all failed. I bought 2 in 2019. They ran all summer just fine. In 2020 I went to use them again but they quickly failed with an F9 error, humidifier sensor failure from what I was told. Troubleshooting recommended by the manufacturing rep did not solve the problem. They sent me 2 more to replace the failed units. had two hisense dehumidifiers go out in 9mths.

bought in 5/2019 and humidity sensor went out in 9/2020. hisense sent a replacement and the humidity sensor went out on it in 7/2021. my step-dad bought one Spring 2020 and his went 5/2021. they give you a two year warranty and that is all you will get the product for b/c it is clearly designed to fail. Lowe's should be embarrassed to sell these overpriced pieces of garbage.

Good customer service with HiSense

I bought one of these 7 months ago, and was very satisfied with the way it worked. The pump coming on for 12-15 seconds every few minutes is loud, but it works well. Or at least it did, until a few days ago when it just crapped out. I contacted HiSense and was told that the E9 error code is a faulty humidity sensor and they needed to exchange the whole unit. I had some difficulty with their vague instructions, but I quickly got it sorted out, And just 3 days later I have a new unit working ...

Quiet Dehumidifier

I've only used it for a week but this dehumidifier dries the air with a fraction of the noise of other ones that we have had in the past. Like all Hisense products, this was packaged well and came with clear instructions. This is our third Hisense purchase and we are sold on the function and quality.

pumps only last less than a year

been through 3 of them now. pumps always stop working 8-12 months in.

This was easy to set up. The pump feature allowed us to leave the unit on the floor and direct the condensed water into the drain pipe for our washing machine. It’s very quiet and seems to keep our 1,000 sf basement at 30% humidity. And we never have to empty the bin! Six months and dead

Worked fine for about six months, then just blew air. EXTREMELY disappointed. A $500 item should last years! This unit replaced another unit of a different brand and that one only lasted two years. Modern stuff is far too frequently just junk. My family had an old dehumidifier that lasted over 20 years. I am perfectly willing to pay good money for a decent product, but this wasn’t it.

Quiet Fan, Noisy Compressor

The fan is quiet when on low setting, but just as noisy as my much less expensive dehumidifier on medium or high settings. Worse, the compressor is LOUD when it kicks on, and it kicks on for about 15 seconds once every 10 minutes. Called Hisense Tech line and they say that is how it is designed to operate. Hisense 60-Pint Dehumidifier

Hisense 60-Pint 3-Speed Inverter Dehumidifier with Built-In Pump is junk purchased the machine with the 3 year warranty, good thing, On the 3rd machine from Jun 2020, The company has replaced 2 machines that failed. Apparently the electronics are junk as well, seems it is common to get the E-9 error code something on the board malfunctions and can't be fixed. The Lowe's company should be looking at this company and machines and drop them like a hot potato. Quality Control.

dont waste the $$

WE had a histene like this (just not inverter) and it worked great altbough air coming out was warm to hot. Thing completely stopped working 4 months later. Troubleshooting did not work. Went to buy another. This was the only brand in stock that day. The “inverter” uses even MORE electriciy and blos ice cold air which makes the area freeIng.
