Dehumidifier

As advertised, works very well. Very quiet while running but when the pump runs (about every 15-30 minutes) it makes a loud vibrating sound that can be heard throughout the entire house.

It works quickly, very quiet, dehumidifies the entire basement.

High capacity works well

Large capacity dehumidifies the air fast. Ordered online and was larger than I expected but seems to be working very well.

Powerful yet reasonably priced

We bought this unit to replace another branded unit costing more than 3X this one's price. Although styled to go inside your house we placed ours in the crawlspace and it has consistently outperformed the earlier unit, keeping my large crawlspace at the goal of 50% humidity or less for over a year so far. Relatively lightweight too, and (important!) includes its own outflow pump. I give this unit my highest rating.

It's a great unit

I have a 120sq/ft 'Fish Room' with eight 40 gallon breeder and one 180g reef tanks with various marine fish and corals in it, and between them i have about 30 gallon of evaporation per week on average. needless to say that's quiet a bit of humidity that gets added to my home. my HVAC removes a lot of it but at times i would get some condensation on the ceiling vents. i added this unit and while i agree with some of the other reviews about the pump not being the quietest, it only runs for abo...

The tubes were hard to connect for the drain

The capacity and needed a drain for floor

Bought this unit last week unpacked the unit and there was no quick disconnect hose in the box for pump. Sent email to Hisense and no reply from them. Will be packing it back in box returning it to store for refund. Will but another unit not Hisense from different retailer.

Happy so far

Quite and cool. Much better than my old unit of 12 years. Only had it running for a week but very happy. Hope it holds up.

Poor dehumidifier results

I bought this unit because I wanted the pump out feature. My basement was very humid. This unit was not taking out as much water as I would have thought with the high humidity. I actually purchased a regular Large Room humidified (same brand), and side by side the smaller unit takes out about 2 times as much water as this unit. I am returning this unit and getting another one of the $200 units.

NOISY PUMP

The pump is far too noisy. sounds like and air compressor running. I'm amazed it made it to market with this db level.

Decent unit

Pro: Very easy on power, really like the inverter. Quiet. Con: At 80% humidity it will only pull about 20 pints of water a day. Seems like everyone radically overrates capacity so probably as good as other 60 pint rated units.

Really drys our basement.

Really drys our basement. And with the built-in pump and included hose, we never have to empty it. Has been perfect for a year

Excellent unit!

Works very well so far. We purchased this to decrease the enormous amount of humidity in our travel trailer through the winter months. We are staying in our travel trailer while building our house. So far this unit has exceed our expectations. It fills the water reservoir at least one time per day.

LOUD !!!! HOT !!!

In the Lowcountry of SC, an indoor humidifier is a must. This thing (2019 Model) sounds like a cheap air-conditioner, especially when the compressor (?) comes on. It will literally wake you from a somber sleep. The air expelled/exhausted is 84 degrees F. I will go back to a Electrolux when this one craps out. In all fairness, the manual states that it will heat the room up AND makes loud noises !!!
