Would Not RecommendWe bought the nest wifi to replace a 5/6 year old router. Had a fair amount of trouble getting the device setup initially. Worked with google support to 5 hours plus to get the nest router to connect to the internet. Once connect, the wifi signal and speed has been great. The biggest issue has been maintaining an internet connect. Phones, laptops, and tablets need to continually turn the wifi off/on or even forget the network and reconnect just to get internet signal. Would Not RecommendThis mesh would be better if it did 5ghz also. The nest point doubling as a Google home device is handy but it's disappointing the router doesn't do the same. The proprietary Power connector is doodoo. And I wish the nest point had an Ethernet jack so I could connect even more stuff. It feels pricey for what it does and doesn't do.

Would RecommendI love the Nest WIFI product. I really don't like calling support for help. Most of your support teams are good, helpful and friendly. Chromecast group is GREAT! I have had to call Nest support twice in the last year and both encounters were not up to your usual standards. And they are not friendly to boot. This would have been a five star review except for that.

Would RecommendHad used xfinity pods with little improvement. Best thing I did was get nest Wi-Fi and the customer service was great as I was having issues setting it up. It has really improved Wi-Fi reception throughout the house. Use the nest point as my means of switching lights on and off so that’s an added bonus.
