A really neat smart speaker with great sound

This is one of Google’s “Home” smart speaker/assistants. It has a good speaker for its size, though not as good as the larger Google “Home Max Chalk” but better than the Google “Home Mini Chalk”. Like all of Google’s smart home devices, this smart speaker is a lot of fun, seriously ‘cool’, and so easy to setup. BTW: Google’s “Home”, “Home Max” and “Home Mini” smart speakers install and work exactly the same way so if you also come across my review of them, you may notice considerable similarity....

A GREAT START TO A SMART HOME

BACKGROUND: I had been researching the smart home devices and systems but was unsure which company to use. The opportunity to evaluate the Google Home was too good to pass up. Very helpful

Love the Google Home! It was very easy to connect to wifi and other smart products. It is very helpful to access information such as store and restaurant closings, etc. We are in our mid 60’s with no “ tech” qualifications and it is so easy to use. Highly recommend!

Cool little device

We recieved a google home mini, google home, a google home max, chromecast, smart light bulb and router all in the same day. Having an updated smart home has been a fun adventure offering some unexpected conveniences. The only difference , I believe, between the speakers, is sound quality. But it is a big difference. Google Home

Simple set-up and easy to follow instructions. I use it in the bedroom to set a wake up alarm, play music and get the weather forecast. I figure that I am only scratching the surface of the possibilities of usage. I am satisfied with the Google Home.

Great sounding Home

This is a great sounding speaker. I use it in my kitchen and it’s perfect for listening to music or the news ...it’s a great assisant for recipes and as a timer. It’s unobtrusive on the counter. Google Home

I highly recommend this product. Google Home is so easy to setup. All you have to do is download Google Home in your App Store (for apple) and Google Store (for android). From there it syncs the device to your home WiFi router and it's smooth sailing from there on out. You can set reminders, play any music, ask the Google home pretty much anything. I have this one located in my kitchen. Thanks Lowes and Google!

The Google Home was easy to install using the Google App on my smart phone. We installed this in our great room. We have an ever changing musical concert in the house most of the day. We also use it to find out about the weather, set an alarm when we have an appointment, and use it to get all kinds of information. Very good for certain purposes

As part of a fairly complete suite of Google Home devices, the Google Home serves quite well, in my opinion, for several personal assistant-like and smart home functions. That is, although sound has been improved, it is still not quite up to that of it's major competitor, and linking several Google Home devices to play the same input at the same time [grouped or whole house] isn't quite as simple as in the 'competitor'. I really like Google Home, because I think it would suit anyone. It's big enough to have good sound for listening to music. And it's small enough to fit in any setting and decor. It doesn't need much shelf or table space. The touch controls are super accessible on this device. Sometimes I'd rather adjust the volume manually, instead of giving a verbal command. I am unable to use this product. My IPAD does not have the software version required to interface with the Home. When and if I upgrade my IPAD, I will attempt to make this product work.

A great little gadget. The Home was neatly packaged and right out of the box I was up and running in just a few minutes. First you have to download the app on your phone or IPad and then follow a few steps to set it up. I already have a home mini and a home max setup in the house. The Google Home is sleek and fits well into any decor. As with all of the Google products, it needs WiFi and to be paired up with a phone or tablet and requires the Google Home App. It takes a few minutes to set up the first product, but adding additional products is fairly easy.
