Great sound!

Works as advertised. Not really a big fan of these things in the home, frankly. But it works. Unobtrusive anyway, as far as appearance. Has a SUPER nice sound quality, on par with expensive upper-end type speakers. Unfortunately I have some trouble with it “hearing” me at times. Also the unit is quite heavy(due to the massive speaker magnet(s).

Tell me once, tell me twice, sometimes three times

We have 2 of them, one works great, the other, well you have to ask 3 times. Reached out to Google and getting the run around. I believe they are trying to play the "warranty" card. I don't care if my warranty ran out, you should still stand behind your product. I have a Google Phone and a Google Home, and have ZERO issues, why this darn speaker gets the best of me. Lowe's has excellent customer service !!!

I wanted to buy a set of wire wheels to clean up some older tools I have. The set was incorrectly tagged. Lowe's stood behind their product, and let me buy it at the incorrect price. They must know I'll be back, because they are my hardware store now. Great Managers at 95th and Metcalf in Overland Park, Kansas.

This is why competition is good!

The device is serviceable to an extent. It's really meant to be used for the most basic functionalities. If I were to recommend a home speaker I'd probably recommend Alexa first.

Home Automation made easy

Ok Google, is the start to every time-saving shortcut. Queue a show on Netflix on the living room TV? Easy. Run multiple timers so different things can be managed at the same time in the kitchen? No sweat. Play that song you really want to hear? Sure, no problem.

Already own one of these and was very pleased to find this one for our winter home on sale!!!!

Easy to install

Only took a few minutes to install and connect to Philips Hue Lighting Also connected a Google home mini a few days later. Have Google Home on the main floor and Google mini in the 2nd floor can get info from either device or control the lighting for the Hue system. Can play music to both devices or different services to each one separately

Ive used my google home for about 6 months, then bought 2 minis for the bedroom. Google can answer almost any question, about weather,,destinations,,and local business... I use it to play the sounds at night to sleep by,,like water falls, or ocean, and it gives me reminders of things i need to purchase. I feel like this is by far the most useful purchase I have made.. Im very happy with it.. thank you, Google

Still surprising me with more capabilities

Besides all the things that are advertised, it has excelled past expectations. I have a large shop, so I put the Home Max at one end and the Home at the other end. I asked a question of the Google Home on my way to the middle of the room. The Google Home Max answered. I guess I didn't think about them being connected to each other.... duh! :)

1st user of google home

I was excited when I got my google home. Having tried Alexa in the past, I wanted to see how this would compare. The packaging was amazing and the install was super simple. I like the stylish look of my new Google Home. Easy to set up and responds well. I like the touch volume on the top of the unit as well. Makes it easy to adjust without interrupting the music. I enjoy the sound quality in this small profile unit. Hook it up and "Hey Google" your needs. Check the weather, set a timer, or a reminder for an appointment.

Very cool device

This is my first experience with any of these smart home devices. I gotta say that they are pretty cool and capable of doing a lot. Initial setup was very simple, I had it up and running in about 10 minutes. It weighs maybe 3lbs and feels built well. It is actually able to connect to my LG TV and control a lot of features on it.
