Would Not RecommendIt is slower than the Amazon Echo. I found that Echo doesn't always have an answer, but Google almost always has an answer but it is wrong often times. Also Google cannot control my Insteon smart switches.
A critical piece in any home automation system
Would RecommendI used it with SmartThings and Harmony Hub to control my lights and TV. It can even close my garage. Albeit if you want it to control you home you will need to spend money on other gadgets (i.e. SmartThings, Harmony Hub, etc.) It is also very useful by itself. It can answer many questions the Amazon Echo doesn't even come close to answering. It only gets better with updates. I'm waiting for the price to go down to get a second one.
Works with Smartthings outta the box! Great voice command assistant to control all the Z-wave devices throughout the house! "Hey Google, lets watch Sherlock on livingroom TV" voila! Chromecast starts playing next episode from where you left off!

This product will change the way you live and I see no way that's bad I have one I'm so in love with it I purchased my mother one my best friend 1 folks there is no downside I have it operating my nest thermostat my Hue lighting my Google Chrome cast and for 129.00 honestly I don't know of a single person that's not been happy with it now keeping in mind it is an attempt and see but it does learn and it will get better over time with improvements I'm on my way to Lowe's today to buy another one...

Would RecommendProduct works as expected and can be used handily if you are tied to the Google ecosystem. It also works with a range of third party accessories for home automation. The only downside that I can foresee is that it can only be tied to one account instead of having multiple for different people in a household.
