Do not really know yet if I like. Monday the installer showed up an hour late. He did not get everything installed. He had to leave for another appointment. still need backup battery, outside keypad, door sensors installed. Need the main button work, and remotes to work. Program everything before adding backup battery
Would RecommendAny DIY installation of a garage door opener is, I think, challenging. This replacement of an older brand and model as challenging as well. On design complaint I had with the unit is that, while the last step is to mount the backup battery, and the instructions say that all programming should be performed prior to the addition of the backup battery, they don't say why. Overall the opener appears to be decent. Issue is that it has terrible plastic tabs that are used as set buttons which then push on buttons on the motherboard.
