Not all Wifi will work.
Would Not RecommendTo work as a Smart opener, your wifi has to operate in the 2.4Ghz range. Anything else (5 Ghz) will not work. This is not on the box nor did I see it anywhere in the directions. Only after installing and trying to set up and finding out it doesn't work and then researching on the internet is this information available.

Would RecommendSo I actually like the garage door opener and I would love to tell you about the wifi capability but I didn't realize the store gave me the wrong model until a few weeks after I Installed it. Instead of the 7155 the store gave me the 7055. When I tried to get the one I paid for they told me to pound sand because I didn't have the packaging. Didn't even offer to give me the price difference back. The garage door opener itself is very quiet and I like it.

Only issue I had was programming our vehicles HomeLink. I called customer service and they were great and helped me get them programmed. I hope these last as long as our old ones.
