Showed that lowes treated decking must be kiln dried to be so low in moisture

Works as advertised

I use this to test the moisture level of my lumber to determine when to seal or paint. Saves much more time then waiting a long period of time and hoping the lumber is dry enough. This is a must have if you have to do a lot of painting or sealing new wood constructions.

Exactly what we needed!

We had some water invade our basement and needed to know how wet the drywall was. It was easy to use out of the box!

Works great for reading moisture in the crawl space. Love it. My crawlspace is encapsulated, got this to see moisture level of the crawlspace wood. Easy to use, perfect product.

This is my second purchase since the first one is 3000 miles from my current location. Buying the same item is a recommendation in of itself. The instrument has two modes {building, wood} and informs user by placing the two pins into the surface to determine moisture presence. This works for me and I would buy another if needed. I have homes in multiple places and moisture issues seem to be universal.

Good product

Easy to use! Checked against another higher quality moisture meter and it was within .25% of each other.

Garbage

Wouldn’t recommend for more than a 1 time use. It actually broke on the first use.
