Excellent reliable unit; noisy

Installed the 30kW unit 2 years ago and it performed flawlessly through 2 hurricanes and 1 tornado. Lots of reserve for our compound with 2 houses, 3 ACs, ovens, hottub, landscaped and well lit inside. Only complaint is noise. This thing runs at over 3200rpm with LPG supply and while i like the fact ive got >1000 gallons in underground lpg, i wish it had hospital grade mufflers. While im not disturbed, its outside my neighbours bedroom. Im contemplating noise barriers and additional mufflers but...

Very quite

This is my 2nd Generac generator. The first one was air cooled and was very loud. It lasted about 3 years before it burned up. A rep from Generac came out and confirmed it could not be repaired. My current one is a Qs 38KW in the liquid version and is very quite. It has only been installed for about 3 weeks now so I can’t say much about its performance. Peace if Mind

We have not had to used it yet. We like the peace of mind that our last generator gave us when we lived near Houston. This is a bigger unit and the first to have limited monitoring with an app. Wish it had on and off feature.

looks good / works good

Love the Generac, we have had to use it 3 times in the first month so has come in very handy. Did take forever to come as is the way with most everything in 2022.

30 KW

Was toying with a cheaper 24kw unit instead of the 30kw. The 30kw covered the whole house plus pool whereas the 24 needed to have certain loads taken off. Auto exercises and seems to work like a champ.

Overall an excellent purchase experience.

Being able to keep tabs on my generator & knowing what is happening with text notifications gives me the peace of mind whether at home or on the road. It’s a great investment & the generator has our home prepared for whatever life/Mother Nature throws our way next.

Quality product

Only thing I don’t like is the display shows hours protected. Don’t care. Need to know hours run time for maintenance purposes. Should not have to scroll through menu every time to find it.

Appears good for power replacement

Had our 30 KW unit installed about 6 weeks ago. Pretty straight forward for the installer until we got to the wifi setup. Probably the most complicated setup I have ever seen (and I have done IT work) and took hours to complete. In the end, the issue was our router setup, where THAT installer set selection of 2.4 or 5 gHz to AUTO. Most devices today can recognize and pick the one best suited, but the Wifi module in the Generac could not. We had to recode the router to separate the 2.4 ban...

Reliable Power

This product delivers reliable power. We have recently moved from Deep South Louisiana to North Carolina. We had a total of two generator in our time in NOLA as we updated after our original one pasted the 10-year mark. During Hurrican Isaac, we were without power for 8 days. I’m Very proud and thankful I received the unit yes it was late due to demands and popularity. We ordered the 38 KW liquid cool the unit was worth the wait ,, Hey be very patient you will not be disappointed, it shall be the best investment you will ever make. The Generator Supercenter of Beaumont Texas was the greatest experience. We ordered December 2021 and was ready for the storm season by August 18 2022.

We are officially ready for Hurricane Season

Knowing we now have a full house generator is powerful itself. Do we wish it wasn’t as pricey, didn’t take an additional 3 months from when we were told it would be delivered, and came with a start up kit (oil, filter, spark plugs, etc) needed as a back up. I have been struggling to find such a kit and both Generac and their main distributor haven’t been helpful at all to assist with such needs.
