I would not buy a Generac generator again. I ordered this generator with the specification that it run on LPG, but when it was delivered, it was set up for NG. We had to convert it in the field, but of course Generac doesn't supply the special tools to convert it in the field. After hours of fighting the fuel orifice, and nearly stripping it out because we didn't have a wide enough screw driver, we finally got it converted. This is a really nice unit. Easy installation and a clean look when finished. I would have liked to specify the breakers and size rather than this is what you get. Overall I enjoyed installing this switch my self.

Great workmanship

We are very pleased with the installation process, the technicians did a great job running the lines and installing the units. Upon startup one of the units needed a new part it is currently being ordered. and we are waiting arrival of the part.

I hope the battery charge in this on lasts better than my last 25 K generator and seeing the housing is now made of a newer metal it won't rust like the last one...they did offer some paint to fix it tho....let hope and pray I never need it how about you make an EMP proof generator I'd buy another one just for that reason

Error Code 2650

Just had this generator installed two weeks ago. The installation went great. The post-installation test went fine. We were very excited to have this operational and the peace of mind that comes with it. After installation, I recalled not hearing the weekly test (maybe I was elsewhere at the time). Easy to Use and Install

This a great solution for those who would like to make life a little easier in the event of power outages. We recently moved to a home that has electric hot water and range. With the electric hot water heater specifically, you can't just "plug it in" and get hot water. With this transfer switch we power the hot water heater and five rooms plus a refrigerator off of our 6300W portable generator.

Great Product

I used this to connect my generator up to my barns. It supplies power for lighting and receptacles. I haven't pushed it to see how far it will go before it trips. It's proven reliable so far.

Decent product

Easily installed and fairly complete. I feel for the money, the 50amp circuit breaker should be included and the plug box could have been metal. But it does work and is as advertised. I would recommend.

The General Homelink is a great product. Giving anyone the ability to safely connect a generator to their home without having to run extension cords all over the place. What makes this product even better is it’s completely wired up and ready to install. Very easy to install if you have residential electrical knowledge.

Great product for the home.

Just installed and tested out transfer switch in home. Generac Transfer Switch was easily to install, after going on you tube for help instructions. This will be well worth the expense for your home with all the outages we have during the any one year. Makes is a lot saver for us to engage the portable generator and switching back to the utility power.

Great System

Installation went very well and the system started right up after installation was complete. The installation team selected Generac's 30 KW system for our business. Everything is running great!

Is working perfect

We had our whole house generator installed and one day afterwards, our power went out at 11:55 PM. Power was restored at 6:00 AM. The next morning, I mentioned to my wife that the generator worked perfect. She never realized that we had lost power for six hours. The generator kicked on within seconds and ran superbly for the six hours we were without house power. A wise decision! We were so tired of being without power. It takes the utility company too long to respond. Great product so far.
