Ran two deep freezers

It ran 2 deep freezers, that had 1 1/2 cows in them and a little venison and the kids electronics. It did very well for it being a 100+ degrees out. One problem I have, would be the rubber footing does not last long.

Great use for RV dry camping

My husband and I purchased this generator for dry camping in our RV, it works great, we have been able to power our 5000 BTU air conditioner, 700 watt microwave, 3.2 cubic foot mini fridge, two floor fans, a wax warmer and wall plug in cell phone charger at the same time, on a full tank of gas we get about 12-14 hours of run time depending on what we have on at the time, not everything listed above is constantly running all the time, it is a little noisy so we don't use it when in a campgr...

First and last Generac product

Would give less than 9 stars if possible. Died, actually runs but generates no current, after less than 10 hours on it. Have my hand in a cast and have no way to take it back yet.

Why sell an rv adaptor

They advertise the 30 amp with rv adaptor but the receptical the rv adaptor plugs into is on its own 14amp breaker. Didnt realize that it would power my rv until i hooked up my rv. I dont understand how they can advertise the 30 amp when all outputs have 14 amp breakers. Good thing lowes took it back. Now off to buy the red generator, a real 30 amp generator that will power my rv. If you want to buy an rv generator that will power a tent then this things for you.

Do not buy for camper use

Even though this model comes with an RV plug it will not push a camper, even though 3300 watts should be enough. They severely choked out the power of this generator by having a 14 amp breaker. This generator was unable to power a 17ft camper. The ac unit alone flipped the breaker. Will now sell this $450 boat anchor and buy another brand.

Fine print only gives 90-day warranty!

We bought this generator when we were dependent upon it as our only source of power, having just moved to Maine. We were living in an RV until we could find a permanent home. A "manufacturer's defect" (confirmed by the Generac repair shop owner) caused this model to literally blow apart, but Lowe's would not issue an exchange OR refund. Bad generator

Bought this junk. I exchanged for another one the next day. The 4 110v outlet's didn't work. Got the 2nd one running for .6 hrs the it quit power output. Convinced me, I will never buy any Generac generator regardless of size. I would give it less than 1 star if I could. Lowe's handled the returns very well, so I give Lowe's 5 stars.

great little generator

Bought this for an emergency and I operated 2 large refrigerators and several drop lights and no problems at all! Only issue is if it shuts down and still has fuel, yes it has a fuel gauge, check the oil and add some as it will not run if the oil is a little low, it still showed up on the dip stick, but after I added a few ounces it started right back up and ran with no problems!

The nearby Lowe's had one of these that had been repaired. A sign on it said $319. Won't start. Repaired. The starter handle is broke in half. I bought it, took it home and made sure it had gas and oil then fired it right upon the second pull. I guess it just needed a real jerk to start it. This generator is a piece of junk. Bought it at Lowes and took it home. Four months after I bought it we had a power outage where I live. So I filled it up with oil and ran down to get Fuel for it. Poor craftsman

I am on my 2nd GP3300. The first one wouldn't start right out of the box. I returned it got my second one I used it for 432 hours over a 4 month period. Went to start it and the motor had seized. I called lowes they wouldn't honor the 2 year warranty on the generator so I called generac. They gave me the run around and finally a number of a local certified repair shop. Runs Great, Starts Easy. Complete Waste of Money

The generator starts easily and runs well. It is not 3300 Watts. 3300 Watts should be 27.5 amps at 120 volts. The 120 outlets are only 14 amps which completely eliminate the use of this generator for any construction work as most saws, compressors, etc need 15 amps. I was wondering if maybe I read the product information incorrectly but the basic numbers don't work. Misleading product information! Perfect for our needs

I drove 65 miles to the nearest Lowes to buy a generator. This generator was the size I wanted, but according to their website none were available in the store. I figured I would have to settle for something bigger. I couldn't believe it when I saw they had it there with $100 off. Took it home, assembled it easily, put in the oil and gas, and it started on the first pull. We live off-grid so this is great for powering a pump and tools. So far so good and a great investment.

I used this generator for 30 days 16 hours a day with not a problems. It runs forever. It is very quiet. I clocked 500 hours in 30 days. The price is very cheap!! I love this generator!!

Not so Good

I loved my first Generac Portable Generator, so when it went bad after four tough years, I bought my second one on August 5, 2016. Sad to say it started stalling on me for no reason, up to three times in a thirty minute time frame, got fed up and returned to Lowe's for a second one two weeks later. Disappointed

I used to own a Generac generator that was rated at approx 3400 watts. It would run anything but a big compressor or a table saw. I ran it with a small air compressor and could efficiently build the pole barns that my business consist of. I bought this one with the thought that if the 14 amp breakers wouldn't support my compressor, I would use the plug supplied because that one is a 20 amp circuit. Under powered as noted in other reviews

I purchased this 3300watt generator to replace a homelite 2500watt generator. It failed miserably. I used the homelite daily to power my hand tools on a construction site. This unit would not operate the one of the saws never mind two tools at once. The measly 2500watt homelite did this with ease never once tripping the breaker on the unit.
