Would Not RecommendI bought this generator to use on a jobsite that didn't have power close by... specs that I read online said this unit has a 20 amp receptical which is what I need to run my 12" DeWalt miter saw... come to find out, each plug-in is protected by a 14 amp breaker... what a joke! why build a generator with multiple recepticals if the unit is incapable of powering even 1 at 15 amps! I will definitely be returning it!!
Not as advertised
Would not run 2, 4' florescence lights in my race car trailer! Took back and got a refund
Amp rating incorrect
Would Not RecommendBought this generator to run a couple small tools on the jobsite. This was an 11amp drill and a 12.5 amp circular saw, both kicked the breaker individually on startup. This generator has 15 amp outlets with a 14 amp breaker and should have had no problem running either tool. I took this back to lowes and prompty returned for a competitor brand
Generac's generator 3300 series

Not 3300
Would Not RecommendAll outlets are protected by a 14 amp breaker. 120 volts multiplied by 14 amps is 1680 volts. 2 large appliances, freezer and refrigerator worked fine until I plugged in my coffee maker. Then the breaker popped. The 240 outlet will give you 3330 volts but NOT with the supplied plug. It takes the 240 down to 120. I brought mine back. Lowes was very good in accepting the return.

Rather this than a snowplow
Would RecommendAs soon as the lights went out I knew it was time. During Sandy they were out ten days. I ordered online and it was waiting at the door of Lowe’s Paramus. Easy to use, starts first pull, runs furnace, refrigerator, some LED bulbs and the TV. Quiet and reliable it is on wheels and easily rolled into storage after use. 10 hours on s single tank, I can’t say enough.

Pops breakers
Would Not RecommendPops breaker under load. Likely going to return for larger model. Bought similar item at SAMS with no issues. We use this for work. We like the compact size.

JUNK!
Would Not RecommendThis generator will not deliver the power it is rated for. It powered the refrigerator and a ceiling fan. As soon as I turned on the microwave it would trip the breaker on the generator. Just so there's no misunderstanding, I'm a licensed electrician and know how to compute loads. I planned to return the generator in the morning. It leaked oil like a sieve from the motor seal before I could return it and now I have a mess to clean up as well.
Can't run 14A/120v devices
Would Not RecommendI purchased this generator to help me with my work around my farm. I fired it up the day I bought it to do some shed construction. The minute I attempted to run my Miter or Skill saw, I tripped out the circuit breaker. Ran my drills just fine, but not my miter or 7" circular saw. Both these saws are rated at 15A. My assumption was that the 20A plugs on the front of the generator would allow me to run my gear (which was well in the wattage load). Unfortunately, after finding the wiring diagr...
Was not sized right for my needs
We purchased this to run a few tools and some lights on a job site - thinking 3300 watts would give us Two 15 amp circuits we figured we could run small tools like a circular saw or shop vac on one circuit and lights on another circuit. What we found was that the breaker on the Generator is set at 14 amp - that is a single 110 circuit at 14 amps or a single 220 volt circuit using the twist-lock plug - using the equation Power(watts) = Voltage X Current you get about 3300 watts for 240 volt - bu...

Would Not RecommendThe so-called 20 amp outlet is protected by a 14 amp breaker. Cannot run my compressor which was one of my real needs. Disappointed in generac and the lowes salespeople!
Disappointed
Very disappointed. It will not run one saw by itself. Wasted a day on this generator. Called generac, they said "sorry".
We are sorry to learn of your disappointment. The GP3300, as well as all portable generators, feature circuit breaker protection for each receptacle....
style and the twist lock style receptacles. Prior to purchase, we recommend ensuring all of the items you intend to run will not exceed this rating. If you are concerned that the loads you will be applying to the unit will immediately overload the generator, we recommend contacting the saw manufacturer to determine what the starting amperage and running amperage is for the saw, as it may exceed the generator’s output. Moreover, we recommend contacting your local certified sales dealer for sizing assistance. />
It's Weak!!!
Would Not RecommendThis generator would be great for low voltage Items, like Camping (NOT RVing) Tailgating, TV, Toaster, Coffee Machine etc. I'm currently Renovating a House and bought a new 12" Dewalt saw and was going to cut some 2x4's lumber, The Breaker trips as soon as I hit the Trigger. So I just returned this Generator back to Lowes tonight without hassle and I'm in search for a Stronger Generator. I think my next generator will have to have a 240V 30A outlet to be worth a dam.
It sounds like your saw exceeds the capacity of the circuit breaker protecting the outlet you are using. We apologize for any frustration and encoura...

It runs fine but doesn't run my stuff very well
Would Not RecommendI've recently had need to use the generator to maintain my refrigerator during an extended power failure because of wildfires. This generator started right up despite sitting in my shop for about a year (it had stabilised fuel in it) - that's good. What's terrible is that the unit's circuit breaker popped almost every time I turned on the fridge circuit. Today was the final straw; I was doing some work on my land and wanted to use a saw, so I hauled the generator out... No way would it run my sa...
Please know that 15-amp loads will exceed the GP3300's rated VAC amperage of 13.75 amps at 240V as well as the capacity of the 14-amp, 2-pole circuit...

Love the GP3300
Would RecommendI bought this GP3300 Generac, from Lowes Burton Michigan, during one of the ice storms. It looked nice and started on the first pull. It seems like good quality for the price. For those who wrote bad reviews, I just dont know what they are talking about.. I ran my refrigerator and all three bedroom lights and two bathrooms, fan & lights. I also ran my living room lights, TV, garage lights and garage door opener along with my front outside lights and kitchen lights and my furnace. I tested it by r...

Great unit at an affordable price
Would RecommendFirst off I'm a master electrician. ALL of the negative feedback on this generator is from people who do not understand generators or wattage. This is rated for 3300 watts sustained. What this means is it has two hots at 14 amps each = 1680watts for each hot or 3360 watts total. OR 14 amps at 240v = 3,360 watts. IF your intended load is 120V loads then understand that you cannot get more than 1680 watts from either receptacle. The left receptacle will operate 1680 watts AND the right recep...
not for RVs
Would Not RecommendI brought this unit at Lowes to be able to dry camp with my camper. Once i got out to the area we were camping at and set up the genrator it would not even support my 30 amp camper. All i wanted for was to help cool the camper down and now im stuck in a hot camper in the middle of no where after i was told the unit would easily support my camper...WISKY TANGO FOXTROT
