Generac 3300.....weak...did i mention it was weak?
Would Not RecommendBought this generator a week ago....the bottom line is, it cant run one circular saw. It the saw is having no issues with the wood its cutting...then its fine. But as soon as it starts to bog down due to a dull blade or the wood is tough to cut through the generator will flip the breaker. It has done it many times now. And that is with it just running the saw. I am really disappointed in this Generac.

Just what I wanted
Would RecommendWe've only had the generator for a short while, but have already had occassion to use it during an 8 hour power outage. Very easy to use. Started right up with one pull. Have experience with some other similar sized portable generators and this Generac is quieter than those, which is a nice plus. Not exactly quiet, mind you, but quieter than some. Not too heavy and the handle and wheels make it very easy to move around. Overall we're very satisfied.

Would RecommendI have done extensive research on this product after I purchased it. The motor is a UP170, manufactured by United Power Co. in China. Generac does not manufacture this motor, no matter how much they tell you they do. The motor is capable of 7hp with a peak of about 5200 Watts but is limited down to 3300 with a startup peak of 3750. Would RecommendPurchased during recent ice storms in Chester County PA. Brought it home, (bought the last one online and it was ready for store pickup within minutes). Brought the unit home, opened the box, followed 7-8 "Quick Start" build steps, filled it with oil and fuel.
