Through hurricanes in Florida. And light work on jobs with no power source it works. It's working now @ 10pm in Tally thanks to the 5-10-2024. 5*******

Good quality, but poor design.

I used this as a backup for power failure and for RV. The biggest problem was running anything at 120v. The breakers are set up for 14 amps each. So using rv adapter to the 240v twist plug only uses one leg of power and provides 14amps to a 30amp RV. So it won't run everything in camper, despite it producing enough power.

Works fantastic

I’ve had this generator for 3 years now. I use it to power my cabin in northern MI, when I go. Also use it for backup power when I lose power at my house! Works amazingly well with a great price. Runs my hole house.

Well worth the cost

This is an excellent gen for the size and price... I would definitely recommend this to anyone.. Works great, looks great and you cant beat the price.. It is a little loud close up but strangely as you walk away it is very pleasant. As far as efficiency it well surpassed the advertised 10.25 hrs @ 50%.. Thank you generac for a quality product..

Unboxed 'brand new' 2014 model

I purchased this unit at Lowes just before a 'big ice storm'. It was a year after the 2013 December ice storm shut down Ontario and Quebec. The 2014 storm never happened, but never got around to setting it up. I bought gas each year and had all the accesories. Anyway, cleaned out the garage today, cause nothing else to do in lockdown. Unboxed, put it together. Easy instructions, but not sure the "included tool" was for, it didnt fit any of the bolts/nuts. First pull primed it, Second pull ...vro...

Broken part out of the box.

Took the unit out of the box and the air cleaner housing was broken. Called Menards to see what they said to do. They would replace it, bring it back to the store(50 miles away). But they did not have another new one right now. Finally got to talk to a real person at the Generac factory. She was great. Registered the unit I have and ordered the new part. Got the part in two days and installed it. Set up the unit and the generator works great. Wish it had a voltmeter on the unit.

You Split The Power

Plain and simple, the power rating is not what is advertised. You cannot get advertized watts from a single source - you split the power. Half of total watts on one side and half on the other and it cannot be combined. Other than this false advertizing it starts easy and runs well. I do not believe what is claimed in the instruction manual for rating.

Awesome workhorse

GP3300

Great generator. I've owned in for ~5 years and never had an issue. I use it (>8 hr) 2-3 per year and start it monthly.

Everything is so easy-to-use and get to.

Great for camping and great on power outages. I live in a tiny house and it will run my whole house.

Good generator that saved my frozen food

I bought this for a recent extended power outage to save my deer meat and refrigerated foods. My Yamaha inverter failed and I bought this without much research. It works very well and was a good value in my opinion. Yes it's loud but that was expected. The handle makes moving the unit very easy. We got over 10 hours on a tank of fuel. As a preventive measure, I did change the oil twice in the first 5 hours and got lots of metallic debris from manufacturing in the used oil. I'm very satisf...

Lifesaver!

This GP3300 was actually broken down when I got it. The repair was easy and I got it for $130 under retail. It kept the bedroom going, heat and all, when a small tornado tore up the Oklahoma fair grounds a few years ago. A different generator kept my food cold. Next power outage I ran a GP7500E as long as I could, the 3300 stayed in the garage. Now we're going on five days without power. Easy to setup and use.

I have never used a generator before but due to the derecho we were out of power for 5 days before I was able to get my generator from another state. By the time I got it I didn't need it because the power was back on. However, 24 hours later it went off again and I used the generator that night. It worked very well and was easy to setup.

Gets the job done.

Baught for my 25 ft camper and done a grate job. Love the adapter that came with the unit.

Reliable affordable generator

I bought this generator as an emergency because my power goes out once or twice a year due to trees in my neighbor. Good price and very reliable. I'm very satisfied and know you will be too. This brand rocks!

Initial buying...

Our group (Michigan Home Guard) raised money for the flood relief in the Midland/Sanford area. We haven’t had any need for these yet but we’re on standby. They are a bit loud but that can easily be taken care of with some sound insulation if necessary to run at night. I do have two issues that I believe Generac shouldn’t have but they were issues. 1. this product is excellent

in very strong with an excellent motor and ability to move two refrigerators and an inverter air very easy and its performance is very good and it only fills up with 3.25 gallons of gasoline which makes it super efficient.

Not happy

Would not work right out of box. missing pull handle. Fixed that than would not start spark plug would not spark. Changed plug still would not work.

Product is good

Problem is can’t get parts. I just bought it two years ago they still sale the product.

A well designed unit

Seems well made, very sturdy. Wheels are impressive, very heavy duty, looks like they will hold up for continued use.Frame heavy duty , especially like the handle design. Chose this brand because my sister has a large whole house Generac which She is very satisfied with.
