Priced Right

Was easy to assemble parts. Instructions easy to follow. Previous generator I had was hard to start. Once this one was assembled, I put gas in the tank and it started on the first pull. Very impressed.

Piece of junk

Purchased this generator on a quick no research bases. Winter storm was on its way and wanted a backup. I filled up generator with oil and fuel ran it for 10 minutes. Started well and operated fine. Never needed to run generator for emergency backup, so fuel supply was turned off and generator stored in covered garage. I pulled out generator this year to start up for 2nd time since purchase. Third Genrac Product and still like them.

It may be a bit too soon to give such a good review. I just purchased my GP 3300, I got my Veteran's discount and 12 months interest free financing, I could not pass on it. Assembly was a breeze, I added the included motor oil and gasoline. The engine fired right up, I ran it unloaded for about 10 minutes, then I plugged in a 500 watt lamp, the generator never flinched. Later in the afternoon, I ran my electric chainsaw, again, no problem, at least not for the first 5 minutes....the engine start...

Needed a generator quickly for my Camper Trailer

Came in box new,opened box,oil leaked from oil jug provided into plastic bag then all over box but still had enough oil to fill generator.Assembled with ease,added oil,added fuel.Went to pull start it and slipped on leaves,surprisingly the half pull I did with me slipping on wet leaves it fired right up,stumbled and stalled,three times later ran perfect.Shut off,fired right back up first pull.Plugged into RV,seems to power electronics with ease however I am skeptical on the wattage output.Ran mi...

Great product

The generator was very easy to ensemble. Starts up ever time on first pull. Runs all my power tools and machinery with no problem. I would recommend this product for any one in the construction industry.

This is a good and useful product.

I don't have any complaints. Setup was fast and simple. The handle and wheels make it easy to take it places and move around.

Failed after 40 minutes run time

Gasoline came out of the crankcase, Generac said its my fault for storing gas in the unit? I shut the gas off, IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE DRAINED. Gas ate through the carburetor.

NOT AS THEY DESCRIBE IT

I purchased this item to use for my miter saw and as per informations on the outer box says 4 outlets at 20 amp open the box and on the frame says 4 outlets at 14 amp my miter saw requires 14 map so started it up and as soon as you start saw it triggers the suppose 20 amp fuse returned it right away

Mislead

Bought it because it had a 30 amp RV adapter. It will not run the A/C. It provides only 14 amps out of the 30 RV connector. Trips as soon as you turn the A/C on. I was not running any other electrical load. I was mislead by the advertisement.

Was to small for my liking got the XT8000E to get the job done

Not for RV'S

I read a review that said this unit had a 14 amp breaker but igorned it and thought it was for the 110 voltage ; however I was to be proven otherwise. This generator is not for a 30AMP camper even though it has one! Pluged it up turned on the A/C (13.5 amps) no problem, turned on the radio and 20 sec. later poped the 14amp breaker. If thats all you want then it's for you.

Customer Service is AWFUL!

I purchased this GP3300 Generac generator and when assembling it, I noticed that one of the leg mounts was missing. When calling Generac I got the run around and was even told it would be easier to go buy the missing piece rather than open up a case with them, which if I did, I would have to provide photos and "concrete evidence" that I what I was saying was true. Steer clear of Generac, or buy at your own risk! I did decide to try and purchase the part from a third party. If that is a headach...

Heed the negative reviews

Take some time to read the negative reviews of this product. If I didn't need a generator with a watt rating of anywhere near 3,300, this would be a decent one. However, if that was the case, I would pick one that is much lighter and more portable. I usually don't write reviews but I think this generator has a severe design flaw that consumers need to know before purchasing. Very "KNOWLEDGEABLE" salesman demonstrated the Generac generator I had asked to see. I was told this company, GENERAC, set the "benchmark" for the generator industry. Not really 3,300 Watts!

This is my 2nd Generac generator (first was a GP5500 that lasted about 550 hours). After a month's use, I am extremely disappointed. It runs well and fires without too many pulls- even at near zero temperatures. My problem is with the circuit breaker. Though it is rated at 14 amps (and the entire generator at 3,30-watts), it trips at far, far less current than that. I looked at this initially because Generac is a top name in generators. The price was also a big plus, and overall I am happy with the product. Great design and very compact. The one thing I am VERY disappointed about is the power quality. None of the sales product information mentioned it. Started First Pull

This started first pull out of the box. I ran it for 10 minutes let it sit for 30 minutes and the second pull it started up immediately. I tested to how much it would run and this ran several household items, very powerful for a little unit. It is heavy so up and down stairs is a bit much but very happy with this purchase.
