Would RecommendI prefer these style strike plates for added security. I elected to get my own 4.5" screws so that I could all 9 screws into the door jam. It would take some serious doing to kick this sucker in. Also, don't forget the hinge side of your door either. I also like to run 4.5's in the hinge side as well. Makes for a much more secure setup!

Would RecommendI liked that the holes are large enough to accommodate spacing between 5 1/2 and 6 inches. The strike plate itself is quite robust but the screws that come with it, while long enough, could be a little heavier gauge. All in all a good value.

Would RecommendAll the other security strike plates were at least double the cost & not as large. This one is pretty thick and sturdy. I assume it’s decent steel, so it should be very strong. Like it!
