Would Not RecommendThe problem is that the door latch has a thickness of just under 1/2 inch but the dead bolt has a thichness of 5/8, which means the deadbolt sits about 1/8 inch closer toward the inner surface of the door then the latch, But this strick plate has both the latch and deadbolt openings aligned with eachother. This is a problem because the insulating seal on the ourter surface of the door pushes the door inward slightly, so that the deadbolt will seal the door but the latch alone will not, if th...

Would RecommendFit perfect as long as the existing locks were installed correctly. If not a small amount of trimming may be needed on the door trim. Purchased another for other door already.

Would Not RecommendBought these to increase home security as a stronger barrier to any forced entry, hoping they would simply overlay the existing strikeplate and deadbolt holes. They did overlay the holes but the width of this strike plate was larger than the surface area I had to install it on. Measure to make sure it will fit your door jam.

Good fix when you've got multiple holes
Would RecommendWent with this strike plate due to having multiple sets of holes from other sets. Installation is very straightforward, I'd recommend when lining it up with your latches, use tape, to tape the strike plate in place, until you have it in correct position, prior to drilling holes.
