I got this watch as a replacement for my first vivoactive 5. my original watch which was several years old. it stopped charging. Garmin replaced with a remanufactured watch at no charge. The remanufactured watch works fine and looks brand new. I am very pleased that Garmin provided the replacement watch at no cost. concerning the each itself. I love it. it looks great and does everything I need. I use it primarily for biking, hiking and walks, and basketball.

Good watch, Awesome battery
Overall, this is a good watch. By far, the best feature is the battery life. If I don’t do any activities, I can get over a week without having to recharge. My wife has an iWatch and she can’t even get through the whole day

This was a replacement for my Vicoactive 4S which stopped working. First thing I noticed about the watch is that the battery life is a significant improvement. I can wear it daily and use gps for three 30+ min activities and it still lasts a week, all the while having much better display. Outstanding Choice
The Garmin watch is so much more than I envisioned...easy, intuitive use. Antenna is excellent and provides immediate communication for the various modes. Excited after a month that this watch was selected.

Battery life
It works good only thing is the battery, at first it lasted 11 days and since then after an update it was 24 hrs then had to watch a video to learn where everything was and turned off gps and now getting a week only had it 3 weeks we’ll see how it goes. But watch the YouTube videos to learn how to use it.

Vivoactive 5
Still learning how to operate. Need to call in for assistance as rolling the wrist doesn't always awake the screen. Password in watch is cumbersome, want to remove it, will need to call for help as well. Works well, learning curve greater than previous Vivosmart 4.

Great fitness watch
Bought 4 weeks ago. Very impressed , easy to use but worth taking tutorials as I am still discovering new features. Previously had the whoop on a trial but did miss the watch face ( didn't miss the annual subscription). Battery life is great. Logging strength based activities is a little tricky but with practice all ok.

Update from a VivoActive 3
I had a VivoActive 3 and do like the VivoActrive 5 better. It has more vivid colors, it was compatible with my favorite watch face "Rails". It seems brighter but I used to use the 3 for a night light walking through a dark room, but the new one doesn't work for that. The old one I charged once a day, the new one goes about 4 days between charges. The 3 used to use 7% of batteries on walks, the 5 only uses 3%. It doesn't keep trying to change watch faces like the 3 did. Not sure I like the mornin...

Super wonderful product!! I am so satisfied with all the features and the quality is amazing. My favorite feature is that the battery life is great as well as the fact that it tracks how much weight I lift. Would definitely recommend if you are into weightlifting and exercise.
