I’m really loving it! I’m not used to wearing a watch, but I did my research on the perfect starter watch as a person who is starting to become more active and wanting to figure out what I want to do to stay active.

Nice watch
I am really enjoying my new vivoactive 5. The only thing I miss about me older Garmin watch is the square face which made it easier to read notifications.

Can’t try 😫
Got all set synced registered etc etc … the band is way to short 😤

Good but reads heart rate low
I like it but it reads my heart rate low. There is much more useful data than with my 6 year old Vivoactive 3 which is still working well. My problem with it is the low heart rate function. On my Vivo3 I regularly get up to my max, sometimes a few beats beyond it with no problem as I am very fit for my age. Even using my Garmin HRM-Dual cardio chest belt with it, the Vivo 5 still reads 20-30 bpm low. That's not acceptable.

Good purchase
Bought 3 weeks ago. When sent it was in display mode and needed assistance to get it out. I like the operation, clarity, and features but the watch band is too short.

Great features
It has a lot of new features that are very useful but yet still simple to understand

Awesome Smartwatch
I've had this watch for eight months now and still absolutely love it. Battery life is every bit of 12-14 days, and I use it hard (12 workouts a week). Reading text messages with responses is very effective. I find the heart rate monitor and steps tracking is far more accurate than the Fitbit. Creating a custom watch face is simple and fun.

Watch is outstanding with new functions for my vivoactive watch. I love that it speaks out my mile running splits instead of having to look at it as well as I love the night darkness mode.

Disappointed
Battery drains quickly. Not that great mobile interface

Love my Garmin
Great watch. Excellent tracker for steps/miles walked. Good for weather alerts plus keeping me informed with my Dexcom G7.

So far, great watch.
Well I've only had this watch for about 10 hours but so far I'm impressed. The battery is still at 100% with very few changes from the way the watch came. Step counters working good, I'll see how it does with sleep tonight. Time will truly tell though.

If I could give it zero stars I would, first watch i got was fine for the first t months battery lasted almost a week. A few months later it would only last a day, not even 24 hours. Contacted Cs they sent me a replacement and its doing the same thing 🤦🏽♀️

Vivoactive 5. Constantly dropping connection to phone. Have to re-pair it at least once a month.

Great watch
Great watch. I have the vivioactive 3 and 4, this is much more sophisticated

Disappointed with sleep score
So far I like my new Vivoactive 5 BUT I bought it mainly for sleep monitoring. I was disappointed that the sleep score algorithm will not assign a goal below 7 hrs, and it can't be set manually. Since I began using a CPAP for sleep apena about 20 yrs ago, I have never slept that long unless sick or using soporific medications. Six hours is more typical for me. Seven hours of sleep is "sleeping in". Unfortunately this goal restriction will negatively affect my sleep score and "body battery" va...

great upgrade
I bought this 2 months ago after my vivoactive 3 was acting up. I love the upgrade and the features that the 3 did not have.
