Diabetic friendly

If this watch had more information for diabetics it would be the perfect watch.. i.e.... glucose readings, etc User friendly ability to add other regular activities ( I do tippy toes daily and would like to be able to enter amount and I do aquatics therapy would be nice to be able to enter that as an overall activity

NOT User Friendly

I have owned this watch for about 2 years, and I have beat on it. Hunting, camping, hiking, backpacking, and swimming. It’s a great durable watch and everything has held up with no signs of wear and tear which was my main concern with the wristband. However, it is way too complicated to use and the manual that comes with it plainly put is terrible. I have to look up “How To,” videos on YouTube.

Still learning

It's not easy to initially set up. I relied more on you tube then what Garmin offered but got the set up done. Then couldn't figure out why the battery saver screen was on, it was so confusing. After alot of playing around and again ... you tube, I understood what I did. I'm not don't figuring out everything but what I know, it's really cool. I love to wear watch, but usually it hurts my wrist but this this watch I never feel I’m wearing it. Has so many futures, but it’s little bit hard to function!

Just what I wanted

Does everything I need. Like it better than my old watch. Looks better, too

hard to use

I can turn it on and measure my hiking milage. But after that it gets hard. I'm sure some people can breeze through all the extras. The videos on youtube don't really help. I try to go into all the tracking and other stuff but get stuck.

Great watch, Sleep Tracking and daily mileage

I was in the Apple Watch cam for years Apple 7 was my last one, been for years wanted to try a Garmin. Battery life is better, never have to charge. Sleep tracking is actual useful insight, body battery help me to do over do long mileage date. Overall happy with the switch, only down side is not a "smart" watch but I always have my phone on me.

Amazing do all watch

I've owned many gps and smart watches. The Instinct Solar has lived on my wrist for YEARS. Its bailed out my cycling computer when I've left it uncharged (or at home when rolled out to Colorado two summers ago) as well as been ready for any activity I've ever wanted to record. All that in addition to waking me each morning, alerting me of calls, and just being a kickass device. SO much more than a great watch.

Looong life battery!

I purchased the instinct solar watch about 3 weeks ago to replace an Apple watch whose battery life was not as good as I had hoped. The Instinct battery life is incredibly long, typically 25 days without a lot of sun exposure and even longer in the sun, even with GPS on and battery saver mode off! Just what I was looking for to replace the 2 day life of my Apple watch Series 6. We'll done Garmin!

A Happy Purchase

I purchased the watch about a month ago and I am happy I chose the Instinct Solar. The buttons take some getting use to because my last watches were Vivo Actives. I decided to go for something that can take the bumps. I have only had to plug it in to charge once. And I love the color—red!

Bad battery hold

Had my watch for a year and it’s already broke, won’t hold charge and will not work on any activities just switches it’s self off, very disappointing for a year after the money paid ……..

Just Solid

Solid watch, with lots of features, bought it used and it has held up well. While also tracking sleep and heart rate to a tee.

Great piece of equipment!

Love my instinct, only kinda problems that I have are if I leave in battery saver mode it will revert to normal mode at night. Either I hit buttons or it does automatically. Chatted with support and they said it doesn't do "automatically revert" . Tried key lock didn't stop it either. I prefer to leave in battery saver mode until I need to work out . Also wish solar chargeing worked inside, because only times it works for me is once in awhile I deliver equipment to our other offices or techs in ...

The GPS for running is great. Keep me motivated.

I’ve had the watch a couple of weeks, use it for texts, calls all the time. The weather and sunrise sunset features help for work. The app keeps me motivated to do more and earn badges. The GPS for running and walking are top notch. Can’t wait to use the explore feature.
