Was easy to install and I like the look and easy to operate

Great AC, does its job!

It's a great AC, cools the room pretty quickly. Not too noisy, I am alight sleeper and it doesn't affect me at all. Great value!

Good for the money

I've used this unit for 4 weeks at the end of summer/early fall weather. It cools our 15x15 room from 80 to 70 in about 4-5 hours. I know ACs aren't meant for that, rather to keep a room a steady temperature. It works well. The Eco mode is nice at night so it doesn't become an icebox in there while you sleep

Not so great !!!

I don't like that when you turn off the AC and when you turn it back on it automatically goes in the ECO mode. All of my other AC's go to the last setting that was used when turning it on.

So far I thought a product name brand would be a lot better, you cannot even move the vent up ward or down ward… so strange, and it’s more comparable to 5k units of other brands… I hope it lasts..?

Love the coolness

After I cleaned the filter the first time, and put it back into AC, the filter light keeps flashing. I know it's in correctly from the outside. Tried to unplug and restart, but still flashes red

The GE home Window A/C unit # AHP06LZ

We love the A/C unit. But as we removed it from the box , we saw (2) broken partsof the inside cover. I placed glue on the 2 broken parts. But the inside A/C unit still works good now.

Easy to use and is super cold need a blanket

Is amazing it has a Remote control. I can set a timer by when I get back to home from work is already cooling my room. Is super cold need a blanket to sleep

Only lasted 2 seasons

The unit only worked for 2 seasons. It stopped blowing cold air. I don’t know if the thermostat or compressor failed but I figured since it was out of it’s super short warranty that it wasn’t worth repairing. I also wish that the vents could by angled up and down instead of just side to side.

Great air conditioner

This is a great air conditioner! It's light, easy to install and cools quickly

Almost cold

It’s a small room so the 6,000 should make the room cold however it gets direct sunshine most of the day so a larger btu would have made the room more comfortable. Trust the name brand and looking for many years of operation. Next time a little bigger. The salesman knew his product and tried to get me to bump up the size but I went by the room size and purchased what I thought would be sufficient.

What a great surprise!

I bought this a/c unit new in the box from my son who didn't need it after researching the best small units. It is fantastic! Installation was a breeze (no pun intended) and it is much quieter than the one it replaced. It cools a 14x14 room easily, set on Econ at 73°. One negative: the filter was impossible to remove for cleaning. I had to remove the front panel (easy) to release the catches. After, I only insert it about 98%, just before the catches. Now perfect.
