Only lasted 4 summers.
Would Not RecommendBought this same model 4 years ago and it just died.Fan started hitting the shroud & making a terrible racket! I only use it in the summer and was very disappointed. I bought another one simply because I knew it would fit and be an easy install. Hopefully it lasts longer than the last one!

My new window unit

Would RecommendBecause this unit was refurbished, there were a few things that were a little bit bent or out of shape on the unit. It is nice and quiet and easy to control manually, through the remote, or through Wi-Fi. I am happy with the looks of it but being 61 and having health conditions, it is not as lightweight as I thought it was going to be. It is a nice unit and nicely designed, but could always be a little bit lighter weight.

Don’t Buy This Air Conditioner
Would Not RecommendThis unit is loud and doesn’t cool very well. We live in Saratoga NY and used it for only three summers, installed yesterday and it won’t cool at all. Very disappointed and won’t buy another GE air conditioner.
