Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good!! Everything worked fine. I do find it more noisy than my last unit ( which was same model) Like that batteries in remote are regular batteries!!

Never had a air conditioner before this is my first air conditioner l have a portable air conditioner but was not cooling as much as the air conditioner this is the best one thank you

Thermostat control issues

Thermostat doesn't seem to work very good. We have to set it at 65 before it turns on.

A little loud but works well

I love how easy it is to use this A\C. It was easy to put together and I installed it by myself. The only thing that is bothersome is the noise. It's not the loudest air conditioner I ever owned, but it does wake me up every time it turns on and off on eco mode.

Disappointing

The first season I had this air conditioner it worked great. After a combined 6 months of use, the compressor never kicks on and it acts as a fan only regardless of how cold I set it to. Disappointing that an expensive product doesn’t last nearly as long as it should. Will be replacing but not with the same one.

Great A/C unit!

This ac unit was such a blessing! It cools quickly and efficiently, and has customized setting for speed, temperature, cooling and fan. There's eco settings to save electricity while in use (stops it from running nonstop). The filter light turns red when the filter needs cleaning. There's also a delayed start option and it's remote controlled as well. It was my first ever GE unit and I've been more than happy with my purchase. Absolutely recommend.

Happy with it

Works as advertised. Would have liked more controls on the unit, in case we lose the remote.

Great BTUs

I finally found an AC that keeps the whole house cool during the summer. I also like the different AC modes and that it comes with a remote.

Cools great….pretty quiet,too.Very easy to install,and the weigh makes it easy to handle,even for a 75 year old.

So far it's working fine

The power button keeps blinking a red light on and off...I just wonder is that a warning about something wrong? Other than that...it's great..works fine. Just need someone to answer me plz

It’s new. It’s a GE. It works out of box. It’s white. You need 2 aaa batteries

Works very good

Like the look and price. Unfortunately did not notice until installed the filter was not in the front. It is on the side where it is impossible to get out to clean. Would not have purchased it.
