Great Cooling

The bedroom cools off really fast, and we have it on all day and all night because I have the worst Hot Flashes ever. That is the only way I can sleep all night or when taking a nap and not be awakened from a hot flash.

Clunking noise

Default Warranty Coverage is a Joke

My experience with this air conditioner is with the 10K BTU model. Within 30 days of purchase and installation, the unit started acting like the buttons on the control panel were being pressed by some unseen force and subsequently, the compressor ceased operation. I was beyond frustrated to find out that the local store I purchased this from was unable to accept returns on air conditioners beyond 48 hours of purchase. It was easy to install. It takes a little longer to cool off the room but that’s ok

Cool enough

It seems to cool very well for its size. I bought it because my central air conditioner broke and needs to be completely replaced. It keeps the entire house cool enough until the guy can install the new central unit.

Planned obsolescence sucks!

Easy install. Worked good for 1 year 1 month then tanked. Contacted GE for warranty information, too bad so sad it's outside of the 1 year warranty. Bought the LG 550 same time used it more and still going strong.

The a/c I bought is working pretty good

Control without getting up or even being at home.

Really nice unit. I like all the features like be able to turn it on before I get home using the app. I like that the lights on the front of the unit go out so my room stays dark.
