I finally made the switch (reluctantly) from regular incandescent bulbs to LED's, thinking I was buying a superior product because that's what everybody seems to rave about. Just as I expected, I was completely let down. I put these strings up last year, then stored them. This year, there a bunch of bulbs out and still going out each day. Total garbage. What kind of junk do you make? I purcahsed christmas lights not even a month ago and a whole strand, 100 LED are already out! Its not even the price I'm upset about but the time i took to hang. Which I'll have to now take down and then rehang only take down at the end of christmas season because you sold me crap! Completely outrageous. And I'm not the only one. All your products reviews at Lowes are terrible. Last GE product I'll ever buy!

Good would buy again

worked great for two years then died

we had these lights for two years and they were fabulous. but this year they wouldn't turn on. we tried replacing the fuses and it blew out one of the fuses immediately. we tried rewiring and went through five fuses, it seems that the one keeps getting overloaded somehow. anyway, we had to throw them away, a huge shame because they're really great looking lights.

Bought two strands in 2021 and got 2 seasons out of them. One string does not light at all and the other had a half dozen lights out. Broken wire in all the busted bulbs. Same 2 wire technology in the LED bulbs as were in the traditional strings of years gone by. Pitiful product by GE and pitiful customer support from Lowes.

Junk

Bought 6 sets of these lights, the first year no problems. Second year 4 strands did not work then the others started dimming and multiple lights went out. Very disappointed in these lights, nothing worse than having to chunk out more money around Christmas due to a junk product.

Worked first year. Burned out by next season.

Same problem everyone else is having! We bought two spools of these lights and stored them away properly back on their spools and in a dry environment. Take them out this year and one of the two spools doesn’t work at all! Such a waste of money! I don’t want to buy another matching set for it to burn out by next year too! Don’t buy these!!

Terrible Product

I had them up for a year for less then 90 days and then put them in storage. Took them out last year to put up and none of them worked. When I contacted GE about then they told me to pay to send them in to get repaired. Today I finally got the chance to sit down and start trouble shooting and found close to 20 bulbs that needed to be replaced in one strand!! Terrible- strands only worked for 1 season

Do not buy. We switched to these LED lights last year. Took them down, put on their spool, stored flat in a cool dry space. Two of three strands do not work at all. Checked and replaced fuses. We bought 2 more strands this year and will be returning those. Save yourself the time and money. I wish I had read reviews last year.

Worked for 1 year

Bought about 8 strands for our giant pine tree and only have 2 working strands this year. Not worth the money or hassle!

These are guaranteed to NOT work after 1year!

My family spent about $2,000 on these lights in Nov/Dec 2021 in order to light all of our Fri t yard landscaping. They were properly stored in a climate controlled interior holiday room with each set properly wound on the spools we purchased them on. Last year we had issues about a week after putting the lights back out. We were shipped fuses and bulbs and spent HOURS removing and testing each bulb. One of my four strands from last year had a glimmer of hope, until I was down from the ladder and moving it around the base of the tree... So I'm down four for four on these. Has anyone corresponded via the email address in the comment? What's the result?

Same Problem as Everyone Else

Just here to contribute to the 1star reviews. Same problem as everyone else. To make it even more fun they worked when we tested them, then we went through the whole process of hanging them, then after all that work 2 strands stopped lighting.

Not working

I bought 5 strands of these lights 2 years ago. Every time I take them down, I roll them back on the spool. I unrolled one strand and found out that they don't work. I also checked the fuses and replaced them to no avail. You would think that if you have one bad bulb, all the others would light up. There is no way to troubleshoot these lights. Now I have to throw away a $50 roll of lights and buy another to match. My old standard 15yr old lights held up better than these. Definitely no quality b...

Stopped working after one year

I bought these in 2022 and when getting them ready for Christmas 2023 they are already defective and not lighting up despite complete troubleshooting. They send power on to the connecting plug, but no lights work. Do NOT buy.
