Didn't last one season.

Was finally able to get the lights down this weekend since it was decently warm. I always test everything before putting it away until the next holiday season. We bought three sets of these in November. All three sets have multiple lights out in each. There are clearly shorts in some places as if you jiggle wires, casings, sockets, etc. you can get some lights to go a bit brighter and darker. The lights unusable at this point. They did not last through the holiday season!

These lights do not last through the holiday season! It is very disappointing! I first purchased for the 2022 holiday season to decorate the grounds where I am employed and at my home. By the end of the season, at both work and home, there were several strings out that could not be repaired. I repurchased again in 2023 to replace the broken sets so all the lights would still match, yet sadly by the end of the season several strings were out again. These lights went out the day before Christmas! New Lowe's policy states you can not return Christmas items after Christmas.. We are now stuck with 3 strings of these crap lights and are unable to get a refund. GE is not willing to help either. GOODBYE LOWE'S.

Worst lights ever !!

Didn't even last a month. Lights kept getting dimmer and dimmer. Now they won't come on. Worst part is Lowes won't take them back because its a seasonal item. Retun to GE is a hassle !!

Worked for one season

We purchased three strands of these lights last year for $50 each. Two strands have already stopped working. The warranty requires you to mail them back which costs $20 for one strand. I mailed back the first strand one month ago and have heard nothing. I bought a replacement strand to use and then another strand went out so I now have to mail that one back. Good value

Look great. Great price, but disappointed in LOWES return policy. I wasn’t sure exactly how many lights I needed so bought a little more than I thought I needed. When I went to return extra reel was told Christmas Eve was the last day to make a return of any Christmas items. This make sense but I didn’t see this policy anywhere on receipt or item when making the purchase so assumed lights had same return policy as any other LOWES purchase.

Product Failed

We bought three sets of these last year. They worked ok the first year. Hung them this year and two sets quit working after a week. Very disappointed in the quality of the lights.

Lights Keep Dimming and then Dying

We have a total of 9 strings of these on our home. We have had 5 strands that we purchased this year, begin to dim and then die out completely while up. We put them up in November and they were done before Christmas. We have to keep buying them if we want them to look consistent around our house, and we are so frustrated that they don’t even last one season. More Junk

Second strand of lights just went out day before Christmas eve (23rd) already returned one strand. Not even bought 30 days ago- hung for only 3-4 weeks. Absolute junk of a product

Absolute trash.

I am so disappointed in these! They were so beautiful draped on our fence but unfortunately lasted one season before both strands stopped working and could not be fixed.

Wires ripped on 3 sets in 1 year

Bought one set last year that still work. Bought 3 sets this year and all 3 have broke.

Bulbs continuously go out

Bought 6 sets of these last year and probably had to replace around 20 bulbs over the month I had them up. I had to buy the replacements through the manufacturer and pay for shipping. This year I've had them up for about a month, replaced another 6 or 7 bulbs when I put them up, replaced 6 more bulbs about 2 weeks ago, and now have another 6 or 7 bulbs out again. GE knows these are JUNK

These are NOT outdoor lights and GE KNOWS this to be true, yet they continue to sell these poorly designed lights and falsely advertise that they are outdoor bulbs. The problem is that there is a visible gap where the wires feed into each bulb and water literally flows into each bulb (follows the wire strand) and rusts out each LED steel lead. That's why they have two little holes on the end of each bulb; to be a water drain. Just plug them in and take a look, you'll absolutely see light shin...

GE lights are horrible

Bought these lights because of the warranty which is a joke. Lowes won't honor the Warranty and GE just passes you around until you get frustrated and give up.
