Disappointed in GE

Nice and bright colors but two of four new strings I bought only lasted one year.

Don’t last more than one season

We have purchased these lights for three years in a row. The first year we purchased two sets as that is how many were needed for our house. The second year, one of this light strands did not work so we had to purchase one new set. The third year, the other set didn’t work, so again, we had to purchase a new set. If I didn’t like the look of these lights so much I would not keep buying new sets. Dissapointing that they don’t last more than one season for how expensive they are!

Fun, classic look

I've had these up for a few weeks and they look great! I put them up on my kids swing set to give it some holiday flare. I bought these because the strand is supposed to stay on if a light goes out...hasn't happened yet. I am looking to buy more!

Worked one season.

Bought these in 2023, very excited to find LEDs bright enough, expected them to last vs. incandescent. Worked in 2023. Stored gently in basement. Only 2 of 4 strands worked when we got them out for this year. Changed fuses and still don’t work. Garbage. Going back to the incandescent where at least if one bulb goes out we don’t have to throw out the whole strand.

Ultimate fail!

Bought 8 strands last November from Loews, carefully packed away the 7 that were still working by January (Loews would not do a return on the failed strand). Now only 3 of the 8 strands will light. Fuse change did not help. Total disappointment.

What a great warranty

Made it almost exactly one year. GE has outdone itself. An item with a five year warranty and fails within the first year and all you have to do is return the item, postage paid of course and they determine if they will refund your money. So it cost $25 to $30 dollars to return an item that last for approximately 20% of the warranty period and you get a whole 15 bucks back.

Worked for 1 Season Only

We purchased these on 11/22/23 and used them from late November to first week of January 2024. I then stored them. Started to put up last night and not a single strand works. We replaced fuses on 2 packages and again nothing works. We spent over $359.84 on 8 packages of these. DO NOT BUY!

Not Satisfied

Purchased 3 of these Nov 2023 to use along top edge of chain link fence. they were absolutely beautiful...until one strand quit working 2 days before Christmas. Didn't get a chance to return before Christmas, then Lowe's wouldn't take back after Christmas. Got the 2 strands out last week (Nov 2024) to use on same fence. Neither work!!! One strand. Exceptional.

I like the fact that the lights are one strand and goes from end to end of my ranch style house. The lights are very bright and look nice.

DO NOT BUY

Lights lasted one season. Lowes return policy is 90 days which has passed so they will not stand behind the defective product. If you return the product to the manufacturer, you have to pay the shipping cost. It’s not worth spending the additional money to get a replacement set that will probably only last a year (see one star reviews )

Work for one season

Last year lowes let me return my 4 sets because i keep everything wrapped up nice this year they wont let me . I changed the fuses all 4 sets are toast . Its sad because they are the best looking lights i think
