A smart solution!

I used it for Halloween lights and was able to easily turn the lights on using Alexa. I plan on using this for my Christmas lights as well and will buy another in the near future.

Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the GE CYNC SMART HOME OUTDOOR SMART PLUG 1PK to try and review. We plugged it in outside the day before a Nor'Easter. It worked perfectly, not once did it go out. The cover protects it very well against weather.

I feel more secure having this outdoor smart plug because if I'm not home I can make sure my lights come on at a certain time and people think that I'm home. Makes Life a Little Easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up on this GE Cync Outdoor Smart Plug was easy. We downloaded the Cync app to connect, plugged it in and we were ready to go! No problem with extension cords, and there are two outlets on the plug itself. Be aware that if you have a large property you will need to be within range of your wi-fi for this to work properly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CNYC Outdoor Smart Plug has two plug-in sides that can be operated intermittently. It can be wifi and Bluetooth enabled without a hub. There's two moveable covers, one for each plug-in. You can use Alexa and Google Assistant to use it whenever you want without having to unplug everything. It’s easy to use and very convenient. I haven’t had any crazy bad weather (light rain) or snow yet, so we will see how it holds up with that.

Amazing plug

Outdoor Smart Plug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You have to have a outlet outside already to use this. This plugs into an existing outlet to make it into a smart plug. You control the plug by smart phone app. This plug has 2 covers on each outlet to protect for weather. This hang has to hang downward and has a very short cord for this reason. You can control each outlet individually. Easy to install & connect. Comes with all the directions.

I Didn't Know How Much I'd Love It!

It never crossed my mind that I would need a smart plug for outside but now I do and I love it. I use it for my inflatable holiday decor and it is nice to just tell Alexa when to turn it on and off. I'm going to get another one to power the backyard festivities next summer.

very handy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I want to say how handy this is for outdoor decorations. I have my Halloween lights plugged in and it is great to be able to set when they come on and off. Easy to use and easy to set up with Alexa. Great smart product.

Not bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well made and solid construction. Cord length is a bit on the short side and i have yet to figure out how to set a timer for this plug. The app is very dificult to navigate. But the build quality is top notch for sure.

Nice product, thoughtful design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feels like a nice piece of hardware. I like the weather proof covers over the plugs, which feel robust. The buttons on top for manual on/off are also a nice touch. And of course Google home integration is a must, and this checks the box. I also appreciate ability to control each plug separately.

So easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband was excited to get this plug. He set it up almost immediately. He said it was easier than he expected it to be to get it set up. Now we have it set up for lights out in out outdoor seating area and can easily turn lights on with Alexa. Absolutely love having this set up.

Not So Smart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the GE CYNC Smart Home Plug is innovative and has great potential. I found it extremely difficult to set up, sync to my devices, and ultimately use. I search for answers and did many differ things suggested but to no avail it never worked properly. Very disappointing experience. I also do not like the design of the plug or the very short cord attached.

durable and compact
