Would not fit in my outdoor socket.
Would Not RecommendThe sockets in my outdoor outlet are apparently turned sideways, and like most outdoor sockets, have doors on them. The plug on this timer is not straight, it's turned at an angle, which causes it to run into the doors over the socket. Both sockets are turned the same direction, so it won't work in either side. This is basically useless to me, which is unfortunate because I am already using the Cync app to control other timers in my house.

Would RecommendThis was just what i was looking for.I hooked up a set of string lights on the patio to this devise and connected to an Alexa device. Works perfect. It was a small challenge to get it connect but a quick chat with Cync support and i was up and running.

Cync keeps loosing sync with Google.
Would Not RecommendThis might as well be a tiny extension cord because the "smart" part of it is very unreliable. Most of the time Cync is having issues making it difficult to control. GE is usually a trusted brand but they dropped the ball big time with this. Until they get the Cync and Google communications issues resolved, you should look for another solution.
