Buttons extremely difficult to press, don’t buy

This is the worst over-counter microwave I have ever owned. The buttons are so difficult to push that the microwave is almost unusable.

Quite working when only 15 month's old

The microwave quite working, and it wasn't 15 months old yet. its a shame that these appliances are now considered to be disposable. VERY UNHAPPY!!!

Very basic microwave

We needed a microwave quickly when our 14 year old GE Profile model died. The store was able to deliver this very basic model in a week. It’s okay. It reheats our leftovers and coffee. But must admit, I miss the special features of the Profile model.

GE doesn’t want to honor warranty

Microwave keeps blowing the fuse - had electrician to come verify it wasn’t wiring or breaker box. Trying to get GE to come inspect the microwave and honor the warranty has been very difficult

Happy to have a microwave again!!

I couldn't be happier with my new microwave!! It's easy to use. Works great!! Controls are understandable. Plenty of room inside. Insulation was pretty easy. We just had a very tight spot to install it.

Beautiful unit to replace the same 5 yr old model

Replacing the same model microwave that was only 5 years old. This unit is very nice looking and works smoothly.

Buttons hard to find,

Micro heats very well, with easy one push 1-5 minute times. Unfortunately, like many other products these days, the buttons are not easy to push, as they require your finger to be exactly in a specific small spot. Makes for a lot of pushing trying to find that spot. Also, the light is not very bright. The high setting is about what the low setting was on my old micro.

Great microwave have no problem ,very stylish,heats very well

Bad fan

Microwave looks good but the vent fan is complete garbage, every other day I have to spray and wipe down the cabinet above it because there is a coating of grease on it that gets blown out the top of the microwave when the fan is turned on.

Excellent product

Has done everything i have needed to to so far. It is a high quality product and i anticipate that it will provide good service for years

Awful

Ventilation on this appliance is very inefficient. It heats fine and works be a good review if it wasn’t for the lack of proper ventilation.

More expensive black stainless & died within 4 yrs

Bought in late 2021 and it died in early 2025--right after a 3-year warranty. It was just dead one day. and my outlet does work. This is ridiculous. It's hard enough to find black stainless steel microwaves, plus they cost more so this one dying so soon is extremely disappointing.

Worked fine, then just stopped working 3 years old.

Smaller than before and different mounting bracket

Our precious microwave with the exact same model number that was around 7 years old quit working. We thought this would be the same size, specs, etc but it’s slightly different. The front of the microwave is shorter, and the mounting bracket has also changed. Not a big deal but don’t expect it to be the same as the identical model number from years past.

Disappointed with the quality of the touch screen.

My old microwave (10 years) had perfect performance for its duration. I changed it because the door handle broke off the door, otherwise it performed perfect and the touch screen buttons never got scratched or unreadable. This new one only 2 weeks old already the touch screen shows scratches (they are in reality delamination of the touch screen) around the buttons used often. I will have a talk with the store that sold me the unit to see if I have any recourse, and also to find if it is covered...

Shorter Lifespan

This product lasted less than 5 years of normal, moderate (avg once every two days), proper use.

Declining quality and ease of installing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] (1) This is the 5th one that have had over the years (25!) and the quality continues to decline. The previous one did even last three whole years. They just seem to be better than the other brands but not by much. I had to buy an extended three-year warranty for this one.
